There is evidence, but as the investigation is on going, the evidence is not public and kept to a very specific group of people. A lot of the people that were banned do have more than enough evidence against them, but there are a few people who were banned because of their involvement that was significant enough to warrant a temporary ban. As we've mentioned to numerous people, those who are innocent will be unbanned. Once the investigation is over, evidence deemed appropriate for the public will be released to the public. The evidence that isn't being released is because of the fact that it will end up in more harassment to people involved and trying to help us resolve the issues. What happened to the community we all loved? Y'know, smooth running, without all this...for lack of an educated word, stuff.
Conspiracy against the community!? From all I gather, the Peace Summit *note the word Peace, not Flame* was to give the Sr. Staff suggestions on how the servers could improve, and now everyone who was present in the meeting is banned.
I don't see how banning a group of people without evidence would decrease the drama surrounding the situation, it seems that denying the simplest of Moderator rules (you need evidence to ban) would increase the drama by infuriating members who haven't done something wrong.
If this post does create more drama, then by all means, delete it. If you know me, you know the things I've been through here, and I'm frankly sick of the drama surrounding a community which is based off a game with an 8-bit style.

Thank you, Bill, for the explanation. There is evidence, but as the investigation is on going, the evidence is not public and kept to a very specific group of people. The Peace Summit, as Col had mentioned in our mod meeting today, was successful...until recently, that is. Some people in the summit chose to go beyond a "peaceful" resolution to go out of their way and harass/flame our administration team. I won't say much more than that because we're trying to figure out what exactly is going on at this point, and we're reviewing who should and shouldn't be banned.
I'm fairly sick of the drama as well. Our administration team is tired of the drama. Heck, even Chad is tired of the drama, thus Community Managers were introduced and are there to help sort out the drama.
Your post specifically does not appear it would cause drama at first glance, as it's much more than what some others chose to post on this thread. Those posts were removed because of the way they were conducting themselves rather trying to get a simple explanation.
I can't say I'm a big fan of how things were done either, but you have to keep in mind that the children involved in this are causing so many problems that it's much faster and easier to go this route. If this community had no drama, then this wouldn't have to take place, which we'd all be happier about that. But, that simply isn't the case.Thank you, Bill, for the explanation.
Although I don't entirely agree with the stance, it's good to have some closure with an explanation.
Stress over a video game?"P.S. The health problems, stress, sleep loss and threat related"
Not a video game, over cyber bullyingStress over a video game?
As I said previously, this is not just a game. This is a community, and we staff do a lot more than just moderate a few games. If someone is being abused/bullied, it really doesn't matter whether it was over a video game, a forum, a text, or some other form of social media, the effect is the same, and it is still abuse.Stress over a video game?
