But think about it, all great products have some features that are copied from others. And did they say how much the new Mac Pro is? It does look like a trash can, but the air ventilation idea behind it is so genius.

I really like it! I am a big fan of Apple, and I think that simplicity is beautiful.
I love how the new icons look, and I also like the menu thing that appears when you swipe from the bottom of the screen.

I like it, unjailbroke my phone to try it, just think the icons are stupid. they still need to polish a bunch of the ui stuff. like you can barely see the music controls on the lockscreen if the background/album art is white.

I believe iOS 7 is still in the first development build. I'm certain Apple will polish it by the time it's released. :)

To be honest, I have never loved the iPhone more than I do today. I LOVE the new design. It looks so clean, sexy, and simple. The UI is as beautiful as it can possible be. The icons, even though a bit too simple, are neat.

I agree, a lot of the new features in iOS 7 have already been implemented in Android for a while, but at least Apple is catching up. What I like about Apple is they add important features when the time is correct. There are many features in Android phones (that iPhones don't have) that are... ridiculous. I don't understand their significance. For example, in the new Galaxy SIII, you can hover your hand over the screen to scroll through your gallery... Really? Because using your fingers is just so complicated. Also, if you're watching a video and look away, it pauses the video. No. If I wanted to pause it, I would do so myself. It's not that hard.

My point behind all of this is, people shouldn't hate on a device for the sake of hating. A lot of people do so, and it is as if they don't have their own personality. They see everyone else hating on the iPhone (because it's mainstream), and they do so themselves. What's sad is that most of them have never used one.

Everyone has different opinions and tastes. I have an Android phone. I like it. It's fast and it does the job; but, if given the choice and ressources, I would purchase an iPhone; not because the iPhones are better than Android or vice versa, but because I genuinely prefer the iPhone over Android phones.

Point finale. Fini! :]

I realize this is a beta, and with the those small things fixed, I might consider using my iPhone more often, its just an iPod right now.

Personally, I think its about time Apple added control centre, one of the many reasons people jump ship or jailbreak. (Not the reason I did.)

As for the rest of your post, i agree with you to a certain degree. Most of what samsung does are gimmicks, but they work, Hey I have a Note II and love it. It may seem pointless but it sells.

I think there's a separate thread debating iOS vs. Android, which is for who, etc.

Flash player.....
Apple will never add flash player to iPhone, many reasons, many I can't remember. Flash player is kinda being phased out on mobile devices, If I remember correctly Adobe stopped building it for android, everything seems to be going HTML 5 and whatever else there is.

I love it! iOS was in dire need of an update. The old (iOS 6 and below) UI looked like it was from 2007. Why? It was.
