I believe iOS 7 is still in the first development build. I'm certain Apple will polish it by the time it's released.
To be honest, I have never loved the iPhone more than I do today. I LOVE the new design. It looks so clean, sexy, and simple. The UI is as beautiful as it can possible be. The icons, even though a bit too simple, are neat.
I agree, a lot of the new features in iOS 7 have already been implemented in Android for a while, but at least Apple is catching up. What I like about Apple is they add
important features when the time is correct. There are many features in Android phones (that iPhones don't have) that are... ridiculous. I don't understand their significance. For example, in the new Galaxy SIII, you can hover your hand over the screen to scroll through your gallery... Really? Because using your fingers is just so complicated. Also, if you're watching a video and look away, it pauses the video. No. If I wanted to pause it, I would do so myself. It's not that hard.
My point behind all of this is, people shouldn't hate on a device for the sake of hating. A lot of people do so, and it is as if they don't have their own personality. They see everyone else hating on the iPhone (because it's mainstream), and they do so themselves. What's sad is that most of them have never used one.
Everyone has different opinions and tastes. I have an Android phone. I like it. It's fast and it does the job; but, if given the choice and ressources, I would purchase an iPhone; not because the iPhones are better than Android or vice versa, but because I genuinely prefer the iPhone over Android phones.
Point finale. Fini! :]
