SG3. Disturbs me that people do not know this.
Haha true, and yes they are located in US, so lag is probably horrid for you, it's really laggy for me and I live in Sweden, I can only imagine how it must be like for you. :/

Even if it were just one server per location dedicated to the comp, of which would be mainly fulled up with donors, mods, and vips as such. It would be greatly appreciated so that we can all have a go with map testing.

That's really true, It's not that fun to play when people move every 3rd second, so PVPing is reeeeally hard.

Alright, I think I've played all the maps that were uploaded to the PMC servers, and I'll give my ratings and opinions on each of them ( I may not have listed all)

Rapturous Drift: The terraforming is really good, the gameplay is balanced, games aren't too quick but not too long as well, the Cornucopia reminds me of the cornucopia in Teweran 1, some buildings could have used a bit more detail (Boat, a few wooden houses, and farm) but it's overall a good map.
[7/10]

Totum Orbem: I hope I got the spelling right xD, I honestly dislike this map, it's like a downgraded version of SG3, the middle is unfair and the Terraforming in some places are really lacking, yes it gives you the Survival feel MCSG did back a long time ago, but the map itself doesn't look that good.
[5/10]

Excavation Zero: Best cornucopia I've ever seen is all I can say, it's a little too steep so there's a bigger risk in going to the middle chests as someone can easily get a Stone sword and go on a rampage, but the map is very well detailed, terraforming is good, not the best, but good. The map may have just a little bit too much trees, but other than that, it's a good looking map, and a fun one to play on.
[8/10]

Hell on Heaven: This is probably the worst map among all the ones chosen, it's basically an MCSG ruins v2, well that's what it reminds me of at least. The buildings in this map are really out of place and very bland, a giant portion of the map is just water, which everybody hates, and if you get a stone sword from corn, you basically have a very high chance of winning the game.
[3/10]

Quartz Laboratory: I like this map a lot, I like the quick and fast gameplay, yet having to be careful of the many traps in the map, it's very similar to Solar frost, which I like because Solar frost is a really good map. Some places do feel a little bit too cramped but it's still a really fun map.
[8/10]

Little Haven: VikkiAnn did a really good job with this map, it reminds me of Yellowstone, but it's better, quicker, and less laggy xD. The only problem with this map is the terraforming, it's not the best, but it's still pretty good terraforming, and that the gameplay can be a little bit stretched.
[7/10]

Untitled SG: I'm not sure if this map is serious or not.. I see this map on one of those public Sg servers where you click a sign and it teleports you to the map. This is a.. a bad map in my opinion, the structures look bland, there are not enough structures, and too many trees, a lot of water too. AND THE CORN IS TOO TIGHT.
[3/10]

Land of Ares: The gameplay is fun, especially since there's a bajillion chests at spawn, but the terraforming is lacking and the map is a little bit too big. I think it was made for 48 people because this map in a 24 person server is really hectic.
6/10

Colossal Caverns: Probably the best terraforming in an MCSG map I've seen, beautiful overhangs and waterfalls, and mountains. But it's a jungle map, a GIANT jungle map, so games on this map are going to take a while, it's got the survival feel and is also a sightseeing trip, how can this map not get in the top 3?

So heres my thoughts for all the maps.

Little Haven

Not fond of this map. It's good for gameplay, with the nice combination with water, terraformed nature + village/town thing, but the builds are really bland and arent very advanced, quite simple. This is made by VikkiAnn, and I think it's too inspired of her last map, Yellowstone, it's a town, and in the middle of it, an area with a tree. And the builds are really similar and so is the terraforming.
6/10

Untitled SG map

Quite nice map. I like the formation of it. There's no builds almost which makes it quite boring at times. Gameplay wise it's kind of fun, but a bit annoying as there is never any straight land where you can have a nice PVP fight. Terraforming is quite boring, and the corn isnt even centered lol. + eight tier 2's four tier 1's in the middle, making it so everyone has a weapon, and like, 10 people die each time it starts.
5/10

Rediscovered

I really like this map, it's really well done, possibly my favorite map on the servers. Its quite small, but it's still really nice albeit the water around it. Nice build combination with the terraforming colors, it's all setup really nice.
Corn is quite annoying with extra 4 tier1's, but I still quite enjoy it.
8/10

Totum Orbem

Square glass dome ... anyway, the corn is quite odd due to the placement of chests. The biome is a bit boring, a long with the lackage of builds. It's a nice map for gameplay, but it's quite boring due to the lack of variety. No theme, boring.
4/10

Land of Ares

I dont usually enjoy desert maps, but I quite enjoyed this one. It has nice terraforming at places with some nice overhangs. (even though you might not find those in IRL deserts.)
I enjoy the gameplay with the variety of terraforming. Theme is questionable.
7/10

Colossal Caverns

Quite nice map, amazing for gameplay, nice corn and awesome terraforming. It's a really dense map with simulates it being big, which I dont quite like. I dont like the jungle, as it's quite overdone and the theme isnt so creative.
8/10

Excavation Zero

Awesome map, it's amazingly set up. The theme is great, PVP is always great. The 3 negatives I have about this is the corn, if anyone get's a sword at corn, it's not hard at all to get 3-6 kills directly due to the hills. The underground can be quite awkard due to lackage of variety and also all the trees are the same. Only big trees and no custom trees.

9/10

Quarts Laboratory

Love it to play with, it definately beats any other map theme and idea wise, I love it. It's similar to Solar Frost which I quite enjoy, but sometimes, it's a bit too claustrophobic and there's not open areas for straight up PVP.

7/10

Hell in Heaven

This map is quite nice, I dont like that it's a lot of water. Gameplay wise, it's really nice with filled up spaces and not too mountainous area. Gameplay wise, its really good, how it looks, not so much, the structures are quite bland and there's not definate theme in it due to the change in biomes that occurs all the time.
6/10

Rapturous Drift

Not reviewing this due to being biased, but I will give some points why I quite enjoy my map.

Posetives:

- Only custom trees
- Variety in terraforming
- Quite a lot of builds and loads of custom terraforming so you always know where you are

Negatives:

- Not the most amazing theme ever.
All of the builds are carried out with the same theme.

I wont give my map a something/10, but I gave some points about it.

Could be better done imo. I dislike greatly how all of them are US.

You'll put a 8 or +/10 on my map when you'll see it tomorrow! It's undergrounds with 3 floors and large places to do real pvp. There's also tunnels and traps. Send me the link of your map also, I can'T find it :(
