So it's been 5 months, now what?

So, it has been about 5 months or so, when we were promised a large number of new features and 'bug fixes'.

-Achievements: Completed, but where are those forum badges which FinsGraphics were hard at work at? Source is here

- Tournaments with REAL PRIZES: Half completed. We have the Arena Competition currently on, but I think that they community were thinking more of ' PvP' Tournaments.

-Deathmatch Arenas: Incompleted: From my research, it was to be random maps which the community could create to be used for a deathmatch. This would result in more exciting end-games, as you never know which map you could be teleported into, and what tactic you would have to use. This has not happened. When will it happen?

Game Masters: Incompleted: From my understanding, these were meant to be moderators who could spice up the game a bit. e.g: /fireworks would send a firework at each players location. They would be limited to 2 'Master' commands per game. This has not happened. When will it happen?

New Maps: Completed: These maps were added, but they aren't played and they are wasting server storage space. They aren't played, so why are they here? I haven't played in-game for a while, but from memory there were something like 20 maps a few weeks ago. What get's played? Breeze, SG4, Random, Random, Breeze, SG4, Random, Random. Why don't we make it random. From a short private survey, over 70% of players asked wanted random selection instead of voting.

All of the above information is sourced from this post here.

I quote ' *Coming soon after stability updates*. So your saying that it took 5 months of stability updates to add Achievements?

And I hear that Chad wanted this update to make the game harder. If anything, it's made it easier. If you want to make it harder, bring back most of the things from BETA, including mobs and randomised maps. We are being too child friendly at the moment, and we need to step up our game.

- MCSGv2 re-written from the ground up: There's a saying which goes ' You don't need to fix it if it isn't broken'. MCSGv1 had a few bugs. The only one noticeable was the Phantom Fire, every other bug rarely affected players. Coming into MCSGv2, we have had tons of bugs, and we get this message every time someone inquires about it:

'We are working on it. Please don't panic or worry as it will be over soon.'

Well, I'm sorry, but it's been 5 months. I highly doubt the Dev team have been sitting around eating pretzels all day, but seriously.

We still have over 20 noticeable bugs, which happen every game. We still have issues on MCSG, but yet the Developers are busy making a new game-mode ( Zedchase). Priorities people!

And just a bit off topic; Can we have some information on why the Creative server is offline most of the time, and what on earth happened to the Survival Server?

Sorry for the rant.

- Tournaments with REAL PRIZES:

It's incredibly, incredibly important for the servers to be stable for this to happen.

-Deathmatch Arenas:

This has happened, take Fallen Kingdom. Map makers can now add a custom deathmatch arena to their map.

Game Masters:

You misinterpreted this addition, it was added as a feature for staff.

New Maps:

You went onto a suggestion instead of stating the facts about why this hasn't been implemented. o_O

The servers are not stable, and yes 5 months is a long time... but remember that there are only a few developers, who of which cannot work for very long. It is a lot easier to implement something then it is to fix something. Which is also my answering for why they rewrote the code, as it gives attention to every detail and cleans up the code.

Actually no, the plugin is failing. I'm just saying that complaining about it will not change anything because it's already in the developers attention, it doesn't need to be said thousands of times.

It has been said a thousand times for 4 and a half months. Still we put up with it.

I am starting to HATE these threads...

Have you ever developed anything? If you have, then you probably know how hard it is to develop something such big as a plugin.
Yes but they've been giving due dates and promises that they've broke.
