The Orion Survival Games, entry for the map making contest

Since the current map making contest is a colleberation between PMC and MCSG. I decided too also make a post here. Team Orion hereby presents you The Orion Survival Games. It is Viking themed survival games map which represents the rough but quiet countryside where the Vikings are living. The Vikings are currently in heavy war against the English and they are facing one of their toughest wars in history.

Here is a small list of the great features it has so far:

• Multiple Statues
• Sailing boats
• Customized forests
• A nice village
• World Painted custom map (radius 280 blocks)
• Dangerous tunneling systems
• Challenging jumping puzzles
• And a lot more

Team Orion is a team which has been formed for this contest and containing the following players: D3athl3f, FlyingFrogz, kingwapa, PepsiHero, SparkOfPrince, rubenb994

Looks really good! Some of the terraforming is a bit too perfect (it looks nice, just doesn't add a good gameplay).

Thank you. I agree with you that some of the terrain doesnt have real gameplay value but no worries there is more than enough terrair which certainly add gameplay to the map

No I meant the map theme is a bit generic. The map itself looks good though

Too bland looking in my opinion. Some areas have no trees, structures at all, they are just big, empty areas. This is looking a little nice, still, I don't think the gameplay would amuse the most people.
