As long as you've played on the map before you will know where a furnace is. You can easily just punch down a pig/cow/chicken/fishing.

And I still think it would be an unfair advantage. Swimming is still really easy.

It's an ocean map though,so it would take a while for kills to happen

But with a boat you will be much faster, so destroying your boat will give you a disadvantage, + moving by boat doesn't result in hunger.

People with boats would probably destroy them after to prevent others from destroying it which is bound to happen.
