Well, clocks can be used on solar frost if games run long because of the fact that you cannot see the sun/moon, compasses can be used by newer players on large maps to find their way to spawn, and there is a rare chance you will get the map of the map you are playing on, so anyone else who has a map in their inventory you will be able to see on it. But I still just throw them out xD.

Too many arrows. It would be good if tier 1 could be 1 arrows and tier 2 5 or 7 arrows.

I read a sign at spawn saying there would be tier 3 chests... Will that happen?

It will probably come soon, just be patient. The developers are probably working hard on fixing the problems that came with the update, and I think that's a priority for now.
