Wow. You are so right. Once some team of complete idiots came up and attempted to punch me to death right after the cornacopia. Found a stone sword in a chest. Pretended i had nothing. Then said "SURPRISE MOTHERF%CKERS!" and killed them both.

That's not always true, when you got to the spawn chest and see the other guy in your chest yoink a diamond, I find it smart to punch him to death. It's not always a bad thing just because it's annoying, and when you obtain sticks, food, and basic armor from someone early game, that's a huge plus for you. A weapon isn't the only thing that matters. You need to try to have a more open mind about these things.

Is it a bad idea that when people punch me I don't fight back. It's one of my principles as a player, my other principles are not trapping people in the lava trap on sg4. I don't punch... even if it means DEATH!

Fun fact - the only times I, and many other people, get punched to death successfully, is when we get really unlucky with weapons on our route - an accomplishment that relies on the horrible luck of the opponent is not much of an accomplishment. >.> Sure, you can kill anyone, even the best players out there, by punching them to death, but it's entirely luck based and shows no skill. It proves nothing.

What made me mad is the other day a team of 3 were pursuing me in attempt to all punch me to death, and this was to the point of them actually skipping over chests so that they wouldn't lose any ground on me. And then I would get chests that had absolutely nothing in the way of weapons, and they ultimately succeeded.

The annoying times are when it isn't noobs who know no better doing this, but people who are reasonably well known and relatively skilled, doing it just to make your life miserable. I don't know how it works out for other people, but I, personally, am fisted in 60% of my games, mostly by skilled players, not noobs.
