Random Map Ideas that could MAYBE be worked on.

Hey guys! I always dream of making a map, so this is just a place where some other people who want to make a map can just sorta toss around some ideas. And please don't just make a copy off of a real map, that is stupid and there is no creativity involved. I hope some people actually toss around some ideas, cause maybe, just maybe, somebody could make it and then we could play on a map that we thought up. That sound very awesome, so I'm gonna just lat you guys toss around osme ideas.

I want to see a space themed map, tried it myself but there's no way to make the sky look right for outer space... or at least no way I can find

I alway s wanted a space theme map, and like make it a space station kind of thing, and I think there is a map plugin thing that you can download to make the time permanant night time. You just need to build it up in the sky so you cant see the ground. Great idea,a spaced theme map would be really good and a different style of map for a map maker to try

Exactly my idea with the space station theme. If I finish the map I'm currently working on I'd love to see about that plugin. Also would need to be high enough so you can't see the clouds.

Atlantis would be very hard to make, but Mines of moria and Mt. Everest are good ideas

Some of these ideas may of been mentioned above:

1. Space Map
- Biome as the end or "sky land" biome with black sky and void.
- Turned off endermen spawning for obvious reasons.
- Hidden beacons giving jump II+ effect to give low gravity feel in certain non-airlock and gravitated areas.

2. Labyrinth
- Sandstone or jungle temple themed.
- Indiana Jones-like traps.
- Special trapped-chests with great loot.

3. Apocalyptic Map
- Note, not post-apocalyptic, fully apocalyptic.
- Podiums at bottom rim of volcano, giving option to either get away from it or risk getting the cornucopia at the peak above lava.
- Certain mob spawning such as zombies and giants.

4. Atlantis (also mentioned above)
- Glass globe, or world edited bubble keeping a globe of water out of the place.
- Dark water maze tunnels to good chests, get out quick or drown!
- Possibly easy to get water respiration as well as custom tridents loot for fun and an edge.

5. Extensive Scientist Lab
- Modern yet abandoned map similar to SG2.
- Explosive traps, fire traps and poison/nausea traps when certain rooms on lockdown.
- Lots of redstone puzzles.
