Community Response to GoldEllipse's Video?

Sooo i was banned from TS for a *oke i didnt get an warning before i made ban dipt*es b*t all declined.

I think if someone says 1 *oke? Gets perm-banned when people *se so*ndboards destroys peoples ears b*t a *oke is more serio*s?

I just watched the video and he literally states the same thing over and over again. He doesn't "expose" the staff at all.

But like he said in the video. You guys are just going to side with the server. Because no one will say that it is going downhill. None of you can tell me that MCSG is not the same as it used to be. Some of the things he said were stupid and not necessary. But I am more towards Gold's side. (If he is not lying)

First off. No one ever said the server is the same. Nothing ever stays the same. This server has changed, for the better, or for the worst. That was his second offense and he is lucky he isn't banned. He is abusing his rank and is supposed to be a role model for the younger players or the people who watches his videos.

Nothing ever stays the same, yes. But like he said, if they would "revamp" the staff. And maybe take care of the server a LITTLE more. It would be the same.

It wont be the same though. It could attempt at going back to the old roots but that isn't the new. People just have to accept change and the change that happened to this server. The staff won't get revamped and I don't understand how they would get revamped. I feel like the past few promotions to Sr.Moderator and Administrators were a great addition to the team and helped out a lot. I think that is the closest you will get to a "revamp".

That's a pretty bold statement. Contrary to popular belief we do not delete posts in a form of censorship, we delete them because they break the rules. So unless you have the intention of breaking the rules your post would not be deleted.

Well. I did post earlier on my profile that gold was an inspiration as a joke. And it got deleted. And I don't think that having an inspiration is against the rules!

Some actually help the server, and some don't. And I totally agree with you with how can you "revamp" the staff. But I feel like if MCSG would just demote some people that don't help out. It could have a change. Maybe not a lot. Maybe not at all. But who knows.

If you didn't know, MCGamer does demote staff members. This includes staff members who are completely inactive, abuse their ranks, or for any other serious matter. Think someone isn't doing their job as a Moderator? Report them, problem solved. I have no idea what you mean by revamping. If you mean having every moderator reapply I guarantee you more than 75% of the mods will apply back, including me.

And regarding MCGamer going downhill: I have been a mod here for over a year now, and a player almost since the beginning of the server. Even though the community thinks that since I'm a mod I gotta be nice about the server blah blah blah, I still have my own opinion, and I think that these changes in MCGamer are different, not uphill or downhill, but different. I mean features that the community liked, MCGamer has kept. And features the community disliked, MCGamer has either improvised them or removed them.

For example, let's see the status of MCGamer 1-1 1/2 years ago. This was when there were very perks and features, but a lot of hackers. Now in the present, we have more features(some that community members do not like), but fewer hackers. What would you call this, downhill or uphill? That's what makes these changes different.

Now regarding GoldEllipse, I haven't watched the video yet, but looking at everyone else's opinions it looks like another one of those "let's get more views and subs by making a rant video". I mean literally, he broke the rules, he got his rank removed. He should be happy he didn't get banned. It's a shame how hungry some of these youtubers get for fame.
