Why they're are so many more hackers these days

Why don't you autoban? There have been false bans in the past before, and autobanning wouldn't change that if there was a good anti-cheat like NoSkid or anticheat. With NoSkid there have been a few bans of people that weren't hacking, and same with anticheat.

Well the obvious reason right now is because our anticheat isn't scary accurate however a lot of hackers I end up banning have a ton of detections, meaning that it may benefit us to have our anticheat create an all-time high priority list of people with insane amounts of detections over recent times so we can go investigate.

The best thing about having a good anticheat but not autobanning is that we can have opinions from both sides of the spectrum, the human and factual or computer.

I guess I can agree with you there, but having a few false bans from a autoban, vs a ton of hackers running amuck (one of the few things I like about the 1.8 update, fixed the 1.7 hackers)

The number of hackers have also increased because of the summer rush as well as the server just growing in population as well.

More players = more hackers

Reading this thread even if it was from a while ago.. I'm sorry but I would have to disagree with you on this. Currently badlion has a higher amount of players on then MCSG and yet MCSG has more hackers because badlion has a proper anti cheat
