ok guys , so the number of hackers are increasing. That is simply because the average Pvp skill of a mcsg player is amazing now a days. That's why people need to hack to beat us.

More people need to compete in cleensweeps, just join teamspeak , poke a member of staff and boom!

You guys must be unlucky. I never find hackers, and if I do, I can't tell if they're even hacking anymore with the new styles if pvp.

People see hackers when they aren't there sometimes though too. People sometimes need to accept they weren't good enough to win. However, some people DO still hack, so we must remain on our guard and reduce the problem before it can grow.

Well at least your message at the end is right. participating in Cleansweeps can be really good for removing hackers, and it's also a ton of fun! Everyone should do one it really does help.

As for the number of hackers, that is just because population is growing for the servers, not much you can do about that.

Even if we did upgrade our anticheat (which is, as I'm being told, in the planning) we don't autoban so hackers would still be out there. I don't think we'll ever go down the path of autobanning because it just causes too much controversy and flame around certain players bans, and it's good to have a human eye back up every decision.

To go back to your original point though, yes we desperately need an upgrade on Xime.

Why don't you autoban? There have been false bans in the past before, and autobanning wouldn't change that if there was a good anti-cheat like NoSkid or anticheat. With NoSkid there have been a few bans of people that weren't hacking, and same with anticheat.
