An idea i had is something that COD does. give 2 maps to vote on and a random map option. No skips. Plus, if its possible, no map can be played more than twice in a row. If that last idea won't work then thats still ok. I think this would solve all our problems.

This was the first voting option we tried when it became clear a new voting system was required. Everybody hated it. It didn't work.

If i remember correctly, there was no voting option for random map, and sg 4 was always on there first. I think the community hated it because they couldn't get their poor breeze island that they always play. IT would be a good change to get some variety.

I believe that the 2 best solutions for this are:

• Make maps that are least played show up more often than maps that are played next to all the time.
• Remove skips.

He wasn't necessarily saying that they did anything wrong when making it, just simply implying that it might be time for more maps to be played more. It might be good for newer players to experience more maps. Yes, the other maps are played a lot every now and then, but they don't exactly see what it is overall. For example, in Hungry Hills(Probably the least played of them all) most people don't have a chest route because of how little it is played. They don't even know what most of the map looks like other than corn and maybe the fall down to the water.

Well, for starters, as far as much of the forum community that likes those maps (and I was a huge fan of breeze for the first week until it became horribly overplayed), it's because they have quick games that result in more games played and fast-paced pvp action through and through (though personally, I prefer survival geared matches like SG1, where running into someone in the woods is pure one-on-one thrill).
Much of the in-game community, as others have said, play those two maps almost exclusively as a result of conditioning - that is to say, since those are the only two maps they ever get to play, those are the only two maps they know to enjoy.

Do you have any idea how difficult that would be, especially for non-donors? Even if you get 5 iron donors in a game, the other 19 players would overpower them, even though they get two votes each. Secondly, that was a poor choice of words on your part, since the reason people are angry is because they don't get to play high-quality maps like SG2, SG3, SG5, Survival Kingdom, and, my personal favorite, Teweran. On the other hand, Ancient Japan and Skylands are rather unpopular among most people.

The last thing I would like to say is that just because you don't see a problem with the current voting system, doesn't mean it isn't there, and no matter what any given person's opinion is, there is definitely a problem with only playing 2 maps out of over 10.

When people looks at your wins, they think you are pro. But what pro is it to only play two maps? People is saying it is the low-ranked people who makes it happen, but it is actual the NEW high-ranked ones.
People like you get all the noob vote that map, which is one of the main parts of the breeze/SG4 cycle.
SG is now mostly a PVP server, like all PVP servers.
I find SG to be too similar to servers like EzPVP.
MCSG in my opinion is no longer SG.
Because I remember.
