I honestly think that these problems could be severely reduced by removing the skip vote option. It stops people continuously skipping till breeze or SG4, which from what I can tell is the main point of the issue. You do that and everything should balance out just a little bit more.

I believe that the 2 best solutions for this are:

• Make maps that are least played show up more often than maps that are played next to all the time.
• Remove skips.

Just go to the console for the servers and delete sg4. Breeze is ok, but sg4 just needs to be gone.

There are arguments for both of them, as well as against both of them, and note that this is a very specific opinion.

Breeze is okay, and is a bit less overplayed(at least when I play), SG4 is just too overplayed for me, though sometimes fun. People really need to try new things. And nate, I'm going to start that thread.

Exactly. Even with probably having a better chance of winning on SG4, I'd much rather do a different map. It's funner to try something new and different, but unfortunately that chance is rare.

And that's the root of all evil, right there. That's the reason SG4 and Breeze get played on repeat. It's the only maps people have routes on, the only maps they think they have a chance on.

It's mostly because the eight year olds aren't patient enough to spend time making a route. But if they want to even play Sg, they need to have a route for sg4 and breezy, so they made those and they cuss and leave when any others are played.

An idea i had is something that COD does. give 2 maps to vote on and a random map option. No skips. Plus, if its possible, no map can be played more than twice in a row. If that last idea won't work then thats still ok. I think this would solve all our problems.
