No it's not obviously, which is why I agree with you. XAC should only be allowed to ban up to 1 week, in order to prevent unfair bans.

Thanks mate. I hope the upper staff seriously reconsider the punishment time for anti-cheat. If there is even a small chance a false ban could be made, it shouldn't be a perm ban.

I stick by what I said on the other post about the anticheat. If you are able to explain what happened in your ban before the anticheat went off and we believe it may have caused a false positive, we will pardon the ban. However, like in my precious post, the majority of players (I would estimate roughly around 80%) have stated in their disputes that they were indeed hacking when they were banned by the anticheat.

Col_StaR mentioned in the other thread as well that we are actively trying to perfect our anticheat as we discover new ways that the system can be manipulated. If you are lucky enough to record a video of what happened when you were banned, that's ideal. However, the opposite of that is making threads stating that we shouldn't even have this anticheat plugin. From a Sr. Staff's perspective, the anticheat has done WAY more good than harm and I am confident that with a few minor tweaks it will be close to flawless.

Also, I can't say much about this topic but I've seen several people posting about the fact that there are still hackers in your games. The anticheat works very well to determine if a player is performing certain actions that are not possible with just vanilla Minecraft. However, it doesn't eliminate every hack you'll ever see on our server. There will still be hackers and we are still developing plugins that will hopefully address these.

To Kronsity that made this thread, thank you for being sensible and realizing that the anticheat isn't "the wurst thing 2 happen 2 MCSG" and all the other comments that are obviously not thinking of the situation in its entirety. We are not going to be removing this anticheat, but we will listen to you guys on how it can be improved and we will hear your situation out if you believe you were unfairly banned. Howver, if you give us a story that doesn't align with how our anticheat works, there's not much else we can do for you. You've got to provide us with the story, we can't give it to you.

You say that mods have been banned by the anticheat, curious as to who you're referring to because I have not been made aware of this.
