So gay marriage is legal now blah blah blah that's cool and everything but ever since then I've seen a lot of "ha! Take that, homophobia!" comments around (meaning places also excluding mcsg and even real life.) But is homophobia really a a bad thing, and should a person feel as though they are in the wrong because they are homophobic? I don't think so.
My pal Fox said that homophobia encourages and spreads hate but I don't think that's true. Just because someone is homophobic, doesn't mean they're the type of person to go out and attack someone based on their sexual orientation.
I'm not homophobic, but I find the idea of being gay repulsive. But that doesn't mean I hate gay people. It's their lives and they can live it the way they want to. As long as I'm not openly hating on someone I don't see a problem.
What do u guys think?????
