I agree with you, but why would you need a higher FOV than Quake Pro? I use 95 and I'm completely fine with it.
I use 95 too, i'm just saying some people prefer higher than quake

increased gamma is a problem. EG. Moonbase, the darkness allows players to hide. The gamma would stop this. :p
Somewhat, but at the same time a lot of players just use "f3 + A" to reload the chunks and you can see the players then. Hiding isn't really a tactic that assists you in the survival games on mcgamer anymore.

This is right down the ally of what I was going to say. My laptop screen is naturally really bright, and so my screen makes everything naturally brighter and easier to see. Although I don't use gamma brightness, isn't my computer a competitive disadvantage? It's such a difficult thing to monitor anyway, the only people that really get caught are those that forget it's a rule you can't have it because it's kind of a silly rule anyway. I know of a lot of people that do use it that would never get caught simply because they do not record themselves playing.

doesn't work anymore ;p it stopped working when 1.8.3 was released for all 1.8 versions ;p
