At least I haven't ban evaded. I've simply brought up the topic. I'm sure you don't know what it feels like to absolutely love a server and spend the majority of your free time on that server and to be banned for a reason like this. I think that to at least try and keep my mind off of something else for a month (I was banned on May 14th) and to come back and post a ban dispute that gets upheld and to question whether I'll ever be able to play one of my favourite things in the world ever again, shows a lot of respect that I have for the staff and community.
If you loved the server so much you should not have broken the rules.

I honestly can't even be bothered arguing anymore, it's just digging me into a deeper hole. I was not thinking at the time and did not know that admitting to hacks on le forums had any effect whatsoever. I asked for a second chance and I'm afraid some people just take a block game more seriously than actually playing it, but to stop other people from playing it. Imagine the worst case of someone getting banned. Someone could have been going through some really hard things at the time and had to lose themselves through playing countless hours of mcsg. Imagine if they got banned for something as simple as this, they could face depression, and I bet something similar has happened in the past. It's really sad how people have to prevent others from having fun just due to the rules on paper and then expect the victims to respect them.

Without rules this server would be a mess. What if someone said "I hack"? How would staff know if they are telling the truth or not. Its just safe to ban them, because if they actually do hack they would not be able to play on the server. If you really needed this server to get your mind of things you would make sure you know the rules and stuck to them and make sure you won't get banned.
I always tell everyone I play with, if you want to rage (when you die) its okay to. But never type in chat or say something to someone. You will regret it later.

It sure wouldn't hurt the server if some of the rules were scrapped. On the other thread that ChibiGoose made about the rule of admitting to hacking, all of the people who commented agreed that it should be removed or at least softened. Getting banned for this is a ridiculous ban and if you don't agree then you must just not know how it feels to be banned for such a thing. I said it on the forums which should not have any effect on my in game account in my opinion.

Even Huahwi made a specific thread saying that it was an unfair ban. It has been brought up any times that the ban was going to be softened but this never happened. Obviously this is a very controversial rule, especially when it is said on the FORUMS.

Just because Huahwi said it doesn't mean its true. Maybe a lot of people agree, but the majority disagrees. I get why this is a rule. And it doesnt matter, because I don't know why someone would even think its funny to admit to hacking.

I did. I got perm-banned along time ago, and I was bringing that "story" to him.
But apparently you got unbanned?

When people find the Arial font ;-;

Well to be honest, it may seem ridiculous to be banned for a joke, but it states right in the rules that admitting to hacks, even jokingly, is punishable. Not knowing something was against the rules does not justify rule breaking. I'm sorry you feel this way but the fact remains that you broke a rule.

Huahwi usually knows what's best. Obviously since he very rarely posts on the forums it was a very big deal in his eyes.
