If a kid did it the police wouldn't instantly arrest him, and this is a community full of children. Also I'd like to add, you can't compare hacking with killing.

Yeah I know, but it is a little different with real life. I'd be fine with this rule if not so many innocent people got banned for being a little immature.

Well yes you would get into some trouble, but going to jail would be kinda over doing it. Especially if they figure out you didn't really do any of those crimes.

Someone joking about hacking should get some form of punishment, but banning for life seems a bit extreme.

Sorry for the double post but, this would make sense IF hacking in the minecraft survival games was as big of a deal as committing a murder. Sorry, but not the greatest analogy.

Also I'm sure the police would investigate a bit more if someone admitted to a murder. Unlike with this game.
