Moderators on AU

Hello, my name is Quavel.
Over in the AU community, there arent that many moderators. Maybe one or two; Pacador and LilBub.

What I want to see is an increase in moderators over in the AU community, as it is getting over run with hackers. I've had to resort to making 'Bear Skylls' videos, where I record hackers and commentate over them.

Anyways. All I really want to see is an improvement in the amount of moderators on MCSG.

Please make it better. #MCSGfortheBETTER

I would not complain because at least there is a Sr.MOD that play in AU and he win 15 games a day (croe97) = hunt + hackers. But you're right, there are few moderators.

Why would you commentate over your hacker video's? They have to be unlisted anyway...

MCGamer cannot do anything about it. It depends on the people that apply, no one applies that is AU.

Though as you already probably know this, I'm going to reiterate this: Whenever you do see a hacker, feel free to report them here. If you do not care to take the time to fill out a report abuse, definitely feel free to just use the /report command in-game

However, I'll now be setting a personal goal to play on regions aside from US, in hopes of catching the hackers that reside in those networks

I will try to hop on AU to ban some hackers, just keep doing /report or even better help us by making a report abuse with a good evidence.

As I am an AU Moderator. I take full responsibility for your complaint/suggestion. Even myself, have been inactive. Moderating is a hard job too, we need breaks every once-in-a-while. I cannot stress enough that if you feel you can take on the responsibility of being a Mod and benefiting the community, please apply! We have few AU Mods, just like EU. I will hop on a lot more and listen to everyone's problems and ban some hackers! Woo!

There has always been shortages of Australian Staff, whether that be Senior Staff or Moderators. Though unlike other regions, Australia is much smaller in player base and general size server wise therefore it is more acceptable to have less mods and attention compared to other regions. Contradicting that though, I do believe there is a need for more AU staff as you said and that will occur with time.

Anyway, we have had some small issues getting mods for certain regions, but just remember that when we go to catch hackers we become invisible to normal players. We're always there, you just might not see us.

As for me, I'd spend more time moderating AU but since I'm from the US the timezones are off, and when I would go to moderate there probably wouldn't be all that many people online hahah.

Although I haven't seen many hackers around on CA lately, it's mainly boosting issues. Either way, I try to spend some time each day cleaning up CA.
