Here's some good advice:

Stop playing Minecraft
Why? I am sure it is because of the 1.8 Update, right? But it happened, and they are not getting 1.7 back just because there is a few people who don't like the 1.8.

No, I don't know why people hate 1.8. I don't play Minecraft, I don't know the differences.

I'm just saying that some good advice is to stop playing Minecraft and do something productive.

Following that fact, games would serve no purpose in life then? The point of a game to is create recreation and Minecraft is one of the most best leading examples of doing so. If you don't like the game, just move on and find another one.

Back to the thread topic, the best advice I achieved was to use the fishing rod. Thank god for whoever told me that :p

That's not what I'm saying. If you stopped playing video games and invested that time into doing something worthwhile, you'd get further in life.

As I said, it's a recreation. But now that you mention it, a game can get you some further in life i.e Pro league gamers, game developers etc. This doesn't necessarily relate to Minecraft, but games in general.

You don't learn to become a game developer by playing Minecraft, you do realise that, right?

Also, only a minuscule percentage of players will ever play professionally, let alone make enough money to live off. Minecraft isn't exactly a game with a pro scene anyway.

You could argue that streamers/YouTubers make money, but again, it's a small percentage, and chances are in a few years nobody will care about them anymore.

It's hard to become professional, but if you want to and you really wish it, you can do it, no matter what.
Now, let's move on, and stop ruining other peoples day. :)
