The V1 generation is not fully leaving, and somethings come up in peoples lives, who knows? It is all just about what is happening in that individuals life.

I agree with you that people posting dramatic leaving posts, but never actually being gone, is quite irritable and kind of petty. And I understand that some people change their mind (and hopefully are courteous enough to request the thread be locked to prevent further misinformation). People "quit" or "leave" all the time with a big sappy letter and come crawling back all the time; it's basically the norm.

But what I can't stand are the people who, "quit" or threaten to quit in protest of something, and then never actually go through with it. That is a blatant call for attention, one that points out a serious topic but lacks the heart or substance to actually do something about it. They want all of the attention, but want to take none of the actions.

I have to sides on this...
[1] Yes, it can get irritating. But the more the merrier.
[2] Most don't give "thought" on leaving, so the make rash decisions they regret and come back.

I have left about six times since coming here, I have not made a leaving thread once, because I know I will have to come back xD

Back when I made my goodbye thread, I think I came back around 2 weeks later just because I was bored with survival.. But, I found a game (LoL) that occupied my time and left for around 6 months.
I don't think they're going for attention, but I think that they just thought it'd be really easy to find something to replace MCSG. But, of course its not that easy, it depends on if you want to do something else or if you're just tired of MCSG.

Force of habit to save post space. If there's nothing in a message that I want to quote, answer, or reference in a post that I'm replying to, I'll generally Snip it.
