First off, before I start talking about the topics in this thread I want to thank you. You made a constructive and peaceful thread with both positive and negative effects of a variety of things that have happened or been put into place on MCGamer. This is truly what gets staff to read and understand. Thanks for being a leader and being an example for anyone who wants to get the staff's attention. So many times staff feel like they are pushed up against a wall fighting to defend ourselves, but with this we can meet in the middle of the room.

- Freeze Island? This map was absolutely amazing. It was built by Kraken a long time ago. Although it was removed, it is easily one of my favourite maps. They removed Breeze, now it is time to bring back good ol' Freeze ;)
I'd have to agree. Even only playing 1-5 games on it, it definitely was a really good map. Additionally, I've seen multiple people requesting it come back. If it gets enough support, I think the map team might decide to bring it back. I'm not sure, but if more things start to come up about it, I may bring it to Jamie :)
- The Hub, and Lobbies. Back in the day when the Lobby Games had a reason for it's name. This was the most loved Lobby that was ever made, ever. I could pick this lobby over a Vareide map. Easily. The new lobby doesn't get anywhere close to being as good as the old Lobby. The hub was incredible aswell. All of the hard work, and effort, put into a hub, that existed for 4 months? I mean, that is abit harsh.
With the Survival Games hub, I agree. I really liked the ingenuity and architecture put into the old Survival Games Lobby. It was unique and overall a nice map. With the old hub, I agree; however, not to the same extent. The old hub needed some changes, but not to be completely redone. It provided a fairly good amount of room, allowed us to make more seasonal changes, and it was overall a beautiful map. I really wish it could come back, but it does need changes for more gamemodes and just some other touch-ups.
- The MCGamer Version Two Update. This was one of the most stressful times for players all around the world. There were so many bugs, V1 was perfectly fine and no one liked this update at all! I do not see why they would change something that was so good, to something slightly worse. They pretty much turned it into AntVenom's server completely. AntVenom + The SG Gamemodes (MCSG, Catching Fire, SG Classic).
I am not sure I agree 100% with this one, but some of them seem convincing. The XAC reporting system was nice, and some other changes were nice; however, there were a couple things I didn't like. For example, the new signs make it hard to know where someone might be. Numbers 1-200 (or whatever) are a lot more organized than randomized servers. Furthermore, I didn't like the incorporation of multiple hubs. It makes it harder to work and it's disorganized in my opinion. Some changes to v2 would be nice. I just don't want to see it completely undone.

The only thing I 100% disagree with is Breeze Island. I personally liked the map and, with some edits, it could have been perfect. It's just one of the classics I think holds a legacy on MCGamer.

Thank you, once again!

Honestly there are much more bads then goods.
Stat reset came; and for the first few days it was at the point of a impossible state to actually legit win.
Getting some of our favourite maps thrown out the window.
I could go on ranting about this but there's no point, MCSG's never gonna find a way out of this.
The reason I still play is because just a small variety of my friends who haven't quit- just rarley actually play a game.

I love everything about MCGamer V2 besides the new sign system. Dynamic servers were a great idea, and have saved us money and reduced lag, but all the really high numbered servers that constantly change can get a bit annoying. It is cool to some extent because if you think about it, the coding behind our sign boards is pretty kickass.

You can't just say "nobody liked V2" because that's not true. A lot of people disliked it at the beginning because of the disorganized servers, and because the hubs and stuff were different but you're forgetting the benfits. First off, we drastically increased the effectiveness of our anti-cheat, implemented a report system to track hackers easier, and added multiple things like friend and party systems to make communication easier. Unfortunately the friend system is broken, at least for me, seeing as it hasn't updated my list since December :p

Add the new rewards for reporting hackers as a "good."

Breeze. Wait it was removed? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

v2: It had to happen, let's face it, it did add a ton of new features, and the new hubs and such, change can be hard to adjust to, but in the modern world of servers, v1 wasn't doing enough I think.

Freeze: Shame, I never got to play that map and it actually looked fun, I'd personally vote for it back.

Although from the player point of view, V1 is bug free and stable, V2 is way more efficient behind the scenes, and it now has gotten to the point where it is pretty much as stable as V1. I am not a hug fan of the the new SG Hub, it's kinda boring in my opinion. The old one was an absolute classic, but it had gotten old in my opinion. Kinda would like to see a new lobby some time in the future, that has more things to explore while you wait for the game to start like the old one did. The current one is just basically a box with some parkour and a maze, too generic for my liking. I agree with all the things that you say are good.
