Hey SG YTers!
If you do SG you are very unoriginal, and I think people should spice it up.
A regular SG Channel
-Aim for likes
-Probably on a unpopular SMP, that is going to finish in a few weeks.
-Has GFX
- "Hey guys it's (insert name here) and welcome back to another round of SG, today we are playing on (insert map name) and we are on episode 200.
-Tryhards the game
-Does so called challenges that "spice" up the game
-probably plays nothing else.

What you should do is play different gamemodes, post SG 3 days a week, play a different game, or quit recording SG in general.
There are too many people that do SG. There are a thousands of videos. You have to be original. You can't get past 5-10k subscribers these days. Please do something original, not UHC not a unpopular SMP, or badlion or Kohi.

To be perfectly honest, I can't agree with you on this one. MCGamer's youtubing community is in high demand. Most players try to do YouTube and what better way than recording on a server with a playerbase in the millions. I think many 'new' youtubers crumble as they can't really seem to kickstart their channel. Renowned Youtubers that still play this server is a must have in my eyes. They bring more and more players everyday. They are and always will be, a part of the community's growth.

The idea of channels purely 'MCSG' is great. I wont be surprised if in 2 or 3 years, it is still a thing.

It's your opinion man. I can't argue with it. But if you look at the statistics tell me 2 youtubers youtubers that have gone over a 100,000 subs only doing MCSG. Huahwi doesn't count, nor does tomahawk. All of them are at 5-30k subs and honestly I don't think SG is going to be a thing in 2 years. Let alone recording it on YouTube.

Lol how many people that play minecraft get over 100k in general? People play SG to get start on youtube and eventually they all branch out when they get really popular. Let them do what they want until that time. Who are you to tell them how to run their channel? lol. I'd say getting that 10-30k subs is a pretty good accomplishment. Not many people on the MCSG servers can say they've done it.

As far as SG not being a thing in 2 years, that's just purely speculation. You have no proof or reasoning behind it lol. People have been saying SG was going to die since like 6 months after it started and yet it's still here. I see no reason for it to die anytime soon as long as a large number of people continue to like it. More and more new people start playing all the time.

I made a status update that it was kinda talking about all 10k MCSG youtubers doing the same thing, but I agree, you're UndeniableZombie is not the one to tell them what to do...

I have to agree with you on some parts, and you actually stole one of my thread ideas :p.

YouTubers these days have such generic content, gamers or not it's the same everytime.
SG...SG...SG...
I've spiced up my channel, doing map spotlights and showcasing my own, that is what makes my channel unique and that's why I also have a very diverse audience.

There are some YouTubers who are suitable doing just 1 thing, others just like to stick doing SG because there audiences are so adapted to it and they get scared experimenting on there channel, which is a shame.

+1.

Let Youtubers do what they want/enjoy...
Well some YouTubers don't deserve the amount of praise they get, especially when there content is so generic and the same to everyone elses.

It's his opinion after all and we have to respect that.

If they can maintain a consistent audience, they are clearly doing something right and therefore deserve the praise they get.

Fair enough, although some of the stuff these YouTubers do BTS is awful.
They are a complete different person when they are not playing there YouTube character.
