This is probably going to be an un-needed thread considering, hopefully, the new forums will be out. :D

This is actually the opposite of me. I love the forums and playing in game but talking to people on team speak isn't really for me as I'm a bit shy. I don't like introducing myself however if you ever join my channel that Im in and start a good conversation I'd love to get to meet you.
Yeah, I am fairly alike. I love love love the forums. I use to enjoy TeamSpeak moderation, when most people actually had conversations. Now, I dislike it because it's so overwhelming and it's not good for your hears. With in-game, I love hub moderation (although I haven't done it lately since I am on leave), and I loved creative moderation, but I just am not a big fan of catching hackers. I still do it, and I can do it, I just don't enjoy it as much as some of the other mods, which is perfectly fine. I guess everyone has their preferences. ;)

The new forums are going to make them look different, and better organize them; however, they're copying this database over there, so all the threads and sections remain the same. Hopefully, though, the administration decides to change it up a little bit when we go over to the new forums.

No longer are the times where people would join my chat. We would play the game and just chill. Now every single time I join a chat there is 8 people screaming, talking smack and just being plain rude. On the rare occasion that a mod talks to me and we talk in Moderator chat that is why I love team speak. We can just chat and chill. However they're isn't enough of that anymore. If you see me online on ts anytime Scott come chat with me. Always looking for a good conversation!

Yeah, I'd be happy to talk to you. Nothing against the staff team because they enjoy it and it's perfectly fine, but even talking with other mods can be a little rambunctious. They're all so energetic, which is awesome, but since last year I have grown to become more calm. I like having 1 on 1 conversations, maybe even 3-4 people, but talking with 5+ people is overwhelming to me. Either way, that's cool. We can talk later if you'd like :)

Some minor things that I have noticed in my short time frame of being here is the lack of forum suggestions; I believe there was supposed to be a new and improved forum site- I could be wrong.

I think the forums should implement:
  • Introductions/Farewells Section.
  • Meet the Staff/Resignations Section.
  • Removal of some sections.
  • New and improved sections for the new games!
That's all that I have thought at this point in time. :)

A forum for like introducing, and leaving MCGamer?
That's quite literally part of the reason why we created the Community Corner last year, and it evolved from that.

I personally would enjoy seeing the off-topic discussions and forum games moved up to the top, possibly even right below the Community Corner. It helped out the Clans and Teams section when it was moved up from the Survival Games section, and I thiunk it will bring some variety to our forums. As for the other inactive or nonexistent sections, I'm sure those are being sorted out with the new forum update

Yeah I know ay. Everyone has to be loud and wants to be heard. Your point is very true on calmness though. Im pretty sure we are only 2 weeks apart in age. So were pretty much going through the same stages and going through the same maturity level. 1 on 1 conversations are great, especially at night where its so laid back.

People develop maturity at different ages- Someone that is 14 could just as well be more mature than a 17 year old.

Oh, late night conversations aren't really laid back- I swear they always delve really deep into someones life. >.>

Late night conversations can be laid back. Really, all conversations can be laid back, regardless of time. On TeamSpeak, late nights mean the TeamSpeak is fairly inhabited, but anyone on is normally energetic since it's late; however, there are also many channels that aren't filled, so a calm conversation is very well possible.

Nevertheless, this thread is getting a little off topic :p

I agree. We should delete or compact some inactive sections, make the important sub-forums more accessible and build upon the community corner's success with similar sections.

I've noticed this too when I was staff. Especially when I was new, it's actually really hard to try get in channels and talk to people you normally wouldn't when there's like 10+ of them and it's very energetic. Not being a particularly outgoing or 'actively social' person myself this made some awkward channel sitting. But nevermind that, back on topic ;)

I use to be outgoing and social, but I've had some things happen and it made me shy again, unfortunately.
