Hi MCGC (MCGamer Community)
I believe that MCG needs more staff members, they are approximately 110+ staff members, most of them are mods. We need more admins, developers and sr.staff.
There are approx 600? servers on these servers, while there are 80 mods approximately, we need more. As it turns out CA is becoming popular because of "huawhi" so obliviously we need more mods on there too. No the staff don't have to drop their standard Col_StaR, they need to fix the age application thing, they need to make the age 13 (trust me) I think 13 year olds are perfect. They don't have as much hard exams, which can get more life. Now anything below the age 13 is unacceptable. So lower the age down, remove the age application app. Don't lower down your applications. We need developers, are developers are amazing but their aren't enough. We did get some from the ANTV merge, but some resigned too. Also we have 5 or less admins, with the lead admin resigning Dave :(
This is not a rant thread this is a way to help the server.
Good job on the cleensweep guys!

The age limit being lowered to even 14 was risky. We have very high standards for our staff members and for good reason. Thirteen-year-olds may still apply for moderator if they believe they are qualified through the Age Exception Process. That process works fine, and those who are worthy of their position get it.

We do understand that our staff count has gone down significantly since the summer, but only because we removed about 20-30 inactive staff members, which wouldn't have been doing much anyway, therefore our staff team operated the same. If anything, we need to be pulling from the EU region. In the fall we lost many of our dedicated staff and Sr. Staff members from that region due to resignations.

As for the CA needing more moderators, I take it upon myself quite often to hop over to the CA region in its peak times (seeing as I have a better latency over on CA anyway). I usually split my time between US, CA and EU; whichever is needed more at the moment :)

If people think they're qualified there's an Age Exception for a reason. Lowering the age would be very risky, specialy for MCGamer Network, because it's a really big Network.

How is one more year risky? I mean In this proposal I am getting rid of age execption. Also age is a number. But then again that's my opinion

You may get the occasional very mature 13 year old however most of them still have a lot of maturity left in them. As they start to hit the 15-16 there maturity levels rise to that of an adult. Well the responsible of us 15-16 year olds have a very high maturity. I believe 14 should be the new age exception and 15 is standard. However that is just my opinion.

I personally think that age limits aren't need as long as the person is responsible, respectful, mature, trustworthy, hardworking, and has good knowledge of commands and other things :p maybe why we have the age exception occasionally :3

My point is that they need new mods, no matter the way they get them
And then we start hiring mods of less quality, then our staff team becomes worse. See my point? When I was 13, I thought I was mature, and I thought I could handle a staff position. Looking back, let's just say I was wrong.

I have thought about getting into developing, but right now I don't trust myself to be any kind of staff. Puberty can cause some serious problems with judgement.

More Admins - Only one admin per server region is the norm. Besides, they don't have WAY more power than mods.
More Sr. Staff - Possibly. Senior staff tend to be pretty trustworthy, and I hope that standard would remain if we did this more.
More Devs - Definitely, as long as they know how to code and have good morals.

Personally I think that the standards are fine the way they are, but I think there should be a wider distribution of moderators over the network.
