Hey, I have recently made another thread a few months back about this but I decided to make an update.

So recently I have been customizing PC specs because I am about to get a new PC (First Gaming PC) and I am kinda good at knowing which specs are good and what not but I want to ask people who know a little more about it than I do. I will list the specs below and I want to know if they are good enough and if I should buy it. If you have any idea I would like to know how much FPS you think the PC might run. Thanks for any and every response.

~Main Specs~
CPU- AMD FX‐9590
GPU- GTX-960 2GB
RAM- Corsair Vengeance 8GB ddr3 1600
MotherBoard- ASRock Fatal1ty 990FX Killer

~Side Specs~
CPU Cooler- Corsair Hydro Series H60 Liquid CPU Cooling System
HardDrives- 120GB Kingston V300 SSD + 1TB 7200RPM HARD DRIVE
OS- x Windows 8.1 64bit
Power Supply- 750 Watt ‐ Corsair CX750 ‐ 80 PLUS Bronze

I would personally go with an intel i5-4790k cpu but that is my opinion.

This is the full name 1 x 8 GB [4 GB x2] DDR3‐1600 Memory Module [AMD]‐Corsair Vengeance
Both your CPU and RAM are not supported ( Or atleast not tested ) on your motherboard. I strongly suggest you to change them to something that is listed on the compatibility list of your motherboard.

I would personally get an intel processor. But whatever floats your boat. I would say because of you graphics card this PC would run easily 200-350 fps in a game of mcsg. On a flat world probably 700 fps.

PCPartPicker doesn't look out for the compatibility either. There is a change your custom build will run just fine with parts that are not on the compability list, but it can also mean they won't be able to use them to their full potential or worse not able to use them at all.

Despite the incompatibilities, this computer will be a border line powerhouse. If youre on a budget, going AMD is the way to go, but if you can afford Intel or Nvidia they're worth the extra investment. This computer should more than meet your needs for common games like Minecraft and CS:GO.

Yeah my budget used to be 1k but I thought that I won't get as good of a pc unless I spent a little more. So I went for the best AMD CPU and went for a good GPU instead of an AMD gpu. Also I won't be playing games like bf4 to much maybe games like Dayz, H1Z1, CSGO, and minecraft and maybe so other games to but nothing super intensive.
