When I use 1.8 I go from 125 fps to 5 every 8 seconds because of horrible version lag spikes, well I might not be able to record MCSG until 1.8 is gone :/

That's irrelevant. The people who want to hack will still search "hack clients for 1.8" and there will be results. All hack clients are essentially the same anyway.

Why is everyone complaining about 1.8? It gives me a nice 300 fps boost and the chunks load almosy instantly...

Anyway, glad to see that the leaderboard update is finally coming!

I will most certainly miss playing on 1.7 as that is the only version that currently supports the Macros Mod. And as a staff member, it's one of the best and helpful mods out there to moderate the hub and give players quick replies.

However, I'm definitely willing to adapt to 1.8 as offers a lot of new features and opportunities for MCGamer as well. For example the 1.8 mobs could be implemented in the pet system (yay bunnies) and we could be seeing some new amazing looking maps on the server in the future. Because if you're a builder, you will most likely know that 1.8 offers so much more like banners, armor stands, new blocks to experiment with...

Lol 300 fps boost, I get 300fps decreased. Which for me means -250 fps

No pls ;-; If you add 1.8 that would affect a lot my fps, and the PvP. I just have 45 - 70 fps with 1.7 but with 1.8 they are going to be like 30 - 40 fps.

Is there anyway to have 1.7 and 1.8 on the MCGamer Network?

Why don't they just kick off 1.8 and keep 1.7?

For everyone complaining about there FPS isn't 1.8 supposed to boost your fps xD and have you guys tried 1.8 yet to see your FPS?
