Well there is a chance the poles will switch. That could kill some people

As far as I know, 'kill' is an unsuitable word. It could disturb most of the satellites orbiting Earth. Our magnetic field would completely turn off for half an hour or so then it'll come back when the poles are stabilised. So, there's a high danger of fatal solar radiation (STAY INDOORS, IN METAL BOXES)!

Oh and, I won't be there when the world ends. I'll be in my DeLorean going into the future.
