Guys you are probably a youtuber that get's hate (10 dislikes per video) and get's like 50-70 likes per video. And then you start losing motivation to record, not because of hate it's because of lack of support that you get. I personally enjoy recording MCSG although there are plenty of hackers running around on EU. But when somebody doesn't respect you'r effort that you put into recording videos, it get's boring (and your subscribers don't support your videos).

So guys i need your oppinions what should i do? QUIT or KEEP MOVIN FORWARD.

Every reply is highly appreciated! Peace.

Well this is a situation I am all to familiar with, as a retired semi-successfull youtuber all I can tell you is to keep moving on! You might be the worst player on MCG but still have a good audience because of great commentary, quality etc. If you are losing interest in the game, however, your audience may be able to notice so don't play the game if you don't want to.

You shouldn't do YouTube for the distractions such as subs and likes. Do it for fun, if you don't truly enjoy it then don't bother. To stand out, you need something unique on your channel to"stand out from the crowd", as it were.

Well IMO you shouldn't need motivation other than the thing itself. If you need motivation from other sources, YouTube probably isn't for you. YouTube should just be something you love to do. And if you produce good content, people WILL subscribe to you more and you will get more loyal fans that support you :)

I do YouTube for the fun of it. I love commentating. Sadly, even though I've been on my current channel for almost six months now, I haven't been able to even break 200 subscribers.

There is one contributing factor that will make or break you as a YouTuber, and it's probably the main reason I'm not as far up there as I think I should be (yes, that sounded self-centered and egotistical but it's just my opinion :) ). That factor is your activity. I have been super busy starting out high school this year and haven't been able to post content regularly or on any type of schedule, therefore I haven't been giving myself a reason to be noticed. There are a lot of MCSG YouTubers out there right now, and a lot of people who either think MCSG YouTube is repetitive and stale, or they are myopically focused on watching Huahwi and Lovelights who made their returns.

Just stick with it and it'll pay off :)

One thing I realized after working the Community Management position, along with a number of other jobs, during the last several years: no one is ever handed the amount of support they feel they need. No one gets paid enough, no one is ever appreciated enough, no one is ever recognized for their efforts enough. Most people will never get past this, and thus find complacency with failure. But successful people work past it, as uncomfortable and uncertain as it all may be.

The most successful workers will do one (or more) of three things: they'll find additional help on their own accord, they'll make it impossible for others not to give them the amount of support they need, or they find the strength to make due with what they have and overcome what they lack. Whether you're running a Youtube channel, managing a staff of 120 moderators, or leading the free world, you will inevitably have to rely on one of those tactics.

Hope that helps.

Being a EU YouTuber myself, I don't get a lot of likes, comments or support either...do I care...not really.

You shouldn't do YouTube to fit in, or to get popularity, a lot of MCSGs do...and it's annoying. You should do YouTube for the fun, not the recognition.

Support, recognition and popularity are all noice things that come along with doing YouTube, but it takes time! It will eventually pay off.

Your viewers can tell if you are enjoying doing YouTube or not. If your not, they probably can tell.

Basically, you can what you want, but there are 2 paths, you choose which one to go down, but along side that, you must learn how to, and the tasks and struggles you must cope with along the way.

YouTube is not easy!
Hope this helps ;)
