Hate....

As some of you may know, "bow spammers" get very much hate bcuz of their skill with the bow.. And i'm just wondering why, i mean since when is a "bad" thing to be good at the game, in my opinion this "omg freaking bowspammer" is just a excuse over your fail.

I would like to hear your opinions

I think people are just annoyed that they're shooting and hitting them from afar, and that they won't go up to them and fight them with a sword.

I don't think it's bad at all... I mean, it's just another tactic to use in the game, just like the flint and steel and fishing rod. If you're good at it, why wouldn't you use it? Good players can determine if they will win in a sword battle or not, depending on what sort of sword they have and what the opponent has and the armour they both have. Good players think about what they can use in order to kill another player and if they're able to use a bow, then they're going to use a bow. I really don't understand the hate with bow spamming ;-;

I don't understand why people hate when I bow spam. If you know me well, you know I LOVE to bow spam people. It's my favourite weapon and it's very fun and effective to use.

It's part of the game, and I really don't understand why people have to make excuses when they die to someone using the bow.

It is a shame knowing some people hate others due to their certain strengths and aspects of PvP.
People feel more comfortable in different forms of fighting and tactics, unfortunately some individuals do not yet realize that people have different ways of playing Survival Games, which includes teaming, bow spamming, boat killing or using a fishing rod. Hence making them such hateful people, due to the fact that they do not empathize on how others play a game and they just simply go ahead and begin hating on skillful people due to their own mistakes.

Because bowspammers never actually charge the bow. They just solely rely on their bow, and would most likely get demolished by anyone 1/2 decent with a sword. They pull it back once, maybe twice, but never actually do shots that take skill. They just shoot away.

I personally don't think it's a bad thing at all, however I do get very annoyed when people won't get into swordfights with me, because using the sword/rod is my PvP forte. People who are good with the bow and not so good with the sword may not be too happy with people who use only their swords and won't get into bowfights. Sadly, it happens :c

The reason most people find it "noobish" is because the standard of PvP skill is based on how well you are with a sword as your primary weapon and your bow/rod/fns as secondaries. That's just how Minecraft PvP evolved, sadly

It really comes down to the person's preference of fighting, they might like using a different weapon of approach. People mainly think this as a ''bad player's'' move is because they think it doesn't require much skill standing in one spot firing away multiple arrows, but that isn't true. It can be thought as drawing the opposition closing to attack while getting their health down.

"Bowspamming" is a part of PvP, don't know why players continue to say "bowspam nub l2p" and this is very annoying.
