Sucks about the bullying thing. I went through a lot of that when I was younger too. A few of the confrontations even got physical. In the end I was the one who ended up in trouble despite only using self defense. But hey, its the real world, it may be tough but you get through if you have self confidence and are able to stand up for yourself. On a brighter note, good luck on that interview!

It's sad to hear that you were bullied in the past, but what's in the past stays in the past and I'm happy that you moved on. Alyssa, many of us know what it's like to go through bullying. I know myself, BitoBain, and Miner9823 have all gone through some form of it, but it can also be considered an experience that contributes towards your personal growth and learning.
If you hadn't gone through a bullying and life-changing experience, you would have turned out massively different than the person you are today. You would not have resorted to online schooling, and then you probably also would not have joined the MCSG/MCGamer community!

Often, a person will go down one of two paths - the bully, or the victim. People who have been a bully in the past will keep that mentality for a while, but in your case, you were a victim. You know what it's like - how awful it really is - and you've (hopefully) become the type of person that doesn't want other people to have to go through it. I've never met you personally, but you seem like a good-natured person. Perhaps part of that is because of the horrors that you had to experience and persevere through in Grade 5?

Everything in life happens for a reason, including the bullying. I know it sounds really typical, but it's incredibly true.
Who knows? Perhaps one day you'll use your own experiences to help a child who is in a similar situation.
