Most of you think of the game called minecraft a game for solely time pass or entertainment. For some people this game pulls peoples grades down, and causes them to flunk school. However this game can has a positive effect as well. Hi, im imaboss2414, and this is my story.

I was born in Lowell, Massachusetts on October 1st 2000. When I was 3 my parents got caught in a car crash with me in the middle of a blizzard and we all almost died. Kind of explains why I still hate the cold to this very day. After that incident my parents decided to move to the west coast. I moved to a very expensive city(It's in the top 10 most expensive cities in the USA) in Cali. We couldn't afford it after a while and ended up moving to Santa Clara. I went to challenger from Pre-K to 3rd grade. When 4th grade came my parents had enough money to move back into the expensive city, and we moved back there and that is still where I live today. In 4th grade I met a lot of people but didn't have many friends. I met a tiny kid who I hated called Debarshi, or as you guys may know him (TheLastGapple). We hated each other and the only thing we ever agreed on was how idiotic our 5th grade science teacher was.(We made songs about blowing her up LOL) Before we knew it we graduated elementary school.

My middle school life has changed a lot in the past 3 years and I don't know where to begin. In 6th grade I was known as a weird nerd. I literally knew everything in math since I had already done up to Algebra 1 in 6th grade and I pretty much blazed through it. I was socially impaired for my first year, and just had a tiny group of friends and since they liked me, thats all that I cared about.

In 7th grade things dropped fast. I lost a lot of my close friends, I did really stupid things that people made fun of me for, and no one really liked me for the full year. I went into a stage of depression, and I couldn't bring my self out. I didn't want to go to school, I didn't want to work, and my grades significantly dropped. I also stopped eating which caused me to become skinnier than I already was to the point where you could see through to my bones. Even TheLastGapple, who is right now one of my of my closest friends, tried ignoring me every second possible, and wanted to flick me off the planet. However that summer my life took a huge toll. The confident, funny kid I am now was born at the end of summer in 7th grade.

It all began with SkullDiamondz/ TheLastGapple, asking me to make an animation. We still hated each other but we both got something out of it so I agreed. I was working one day and he asked me to play some minecraft hunger games on a server called MCSG with some of his friends. I agreed, and on my very first game I got 2nd place! I wanted to play more, and I couldn't stop. After I finished his animation, we would all wake up early in the morning, and begin skyping and playing MCSG.

Soon school began, and everyone still didn't like me but Skull, and another guy we played hunger games with. People were shocked to see us standing together, but before I knew it, all those haters gave me another chance and became my close friends. I was suddenly popular and that just shocked me. My ask.fm went from all hate to so many cool/funny questions and love messeges(Skull you know what I mean ;) ), and my grades went up. I grew an insane amount that 1 year. I went from being 5'1 to all the way up to 5'7 (Right now I am 5'8) by the end of the year. I slowly became toned as I started going to competitive swimming, and everything was suddenly going in my favor, and that year was wonderful. And I just could not believe all of this, this happiness was caused by bonding through a SIMPLE GAME. Yeah sure it sounds stupid and fake but believe it or not it was true. My brain and enthusiasm went into complete overdrive for the majority of the year. Even when I slightly got bored of minecraft, I would always be reminded by every nice message that THIS VERY SERVER CAUSED IT ALL.

I am currently in my freshman year of high school, and since I go to one of the most challenging in the nation, It isn't easy. (Seriously, our high schools nickname within our city is referred to as the pressure cooker) None the less I am still happy with my life, and this couldn't have been possible without Chad & The MC Gamer staff, Mojang, and most importantly, TheLastGapple.

Erm, ever heard of the Enter key? *eyes glaze over as they take in the massive run-on paragraph*

But it's nice to know TheLastGapple 's had such a positive effect on you (do @ followed by the person's name with no space between the name and the @ to highlight them). Welcome I guess! :)
