Community Poll: Leaderboards Reset with Newest Update?

Please do not reset my stats. I've spent a good amount of time working on them, my goal is to get to 1k wins. If the stats were to reset, i'd more than likely quit. I like my ratio how it is. Resetting it would make players nervous to play mcsg. If players were to lose there good ratio it would increase abuse, ect. I would really like to keep my stats how they are...

Instead of refreshing the current leaderboards, the leaderboards should be split up into, say weekly or monthly leaderboards for the newcomers to have an equal chance of being on top of the leaderboards. Each of the leaderboards could be recorded on the forums while all the statistics add on to the permanent leaderboards. The amount of tryhards and winfarmers would drastically increase should a whole leaderboard reset happen, and there are better ideas than that. So my vote is no.

Can't you have an old (that still keeps going) and a new leaderboards? I thinks that will make the most people happy.
And even if that isn't possible, I think people are forgetting their wins will stay on the legacy leaderboards forever (and new statistics would be cool :3)

Which is why we staff members are here, to keep the community as clean and hacker/ rule breaker free as possible.

But, the administration do realize that people have worked hard to get to their respective ranks. To make them not 'pissed off', they are proposing the implementation of 'legacy leader boards' where the player base's statistics, prior to prospective reset of leader boards would be stored and kept permanently.

I voted yes. But i would suggest first to fix the hackers problem and then do this. Also, the leaderboard legacy is needed. Honestly i don't understand all this people complaining about them stats even know they will be saved

I thought about it while i was reading all of the comments. And i personally think the idea is ridiculous why? Because if you really think about it all of the players with the quote on quote "bad stats" will just say "YES" and give a crappy reason like "Ohh i think it will improve the communities way of seeing the leaderbaords" AHAHA. What mcsg is doing is basically giving every player with a quote on quote "Not so good,Bad ratio" a free stats reset because they don't have enough money to buy one. Like cmon! even gears said that "its all about the money" by MCSG doing that there losing money. Now to what the players with the "All right ratio, High in the leaderboards think", Personally I don't have the best ratio but I have a ratio that im PROUD of. And this may be an Overstatement but I bought this acc to get rid of all my bad blood and to get a Decent/Good ratio and what MCSG is just going to reset them please all of the people with the Not so good stats HA please. Im not saying I will quit but, I know ill be really pi****ed of.

i have spent so much time playing on mcsg and to see all of my hard work flushed down the drain would be the most excruciating thing that could happen to me, if this happened i would defiantly move to another network such as hive. i understand that people have reset their stats and don't care. but all the people who have been here for so long and have so many memories to be whipped clean, it would be very disgracing of these players.

If you don't understand, here's why I'd be annoyed.

I've worked my way up onto the leaderboard for over a year, and I plan on still rising in the leaderboard. To have my efforts stomped on and be permanent rank #20, no thanks.

No, by doing this people will get encouraged to not play mcsg. For example gravey4rd, he has spent years getting to number one, if I was him and the leaderboards gets reset I would quit because, all the hard work I have spent getting to 4000 wins might not ever happen again. My main point is no, people that spent years and getting in the top one-thousand and it was thrown away..... I would just quit.

People like Gravey will still have their stats it they will just be on a different leaderboard 8D
