Just finished Clannad and Clannad: After Story. Go watch it now. I'm usually not prone to tears, but episodes 16-22 of After Story had me bawling my eyes out. It's just so gooood. Oh and it's on YouTube. For free. Watch it.

First watch Clannad.

Oh yeah, I finished Serial Experiments Lain (a mindf*** anime) and I'm caught up with Barakamon and Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun.

If this doesn't convince you to watch the show, I don't know what will.

Barakamon's pretty funny as well (and yes this scene is a misunderstanding.)

From what I've heard that's true. I've also heard it's not very good, more of a guilty pleasure type show.

I just watched the first episode... Pretty similar concept to Death Note actually, doesn't seem TOO bad, judging from the first epidose.

So, I just watched Grave of Fireflies (http://myanimelist.net/anime/578/Hotaru_no_Haka).

I don't know what to say. I just don't. I still haven't fully recovered from this expereince.

There are tears in my eye, and my chin is still wet. I rarely cry at movies or television shows, so that should tell you something.

This movie is incredibly sad, yet stunningly brilliant. A masterpiece. 10/10

I just finished Mirai Nikki yesterday, and dang I must say... It was literally a gore fest; this anime definately isn't for the faint hearted; however the OVA Mirai Nikki: Redial is the only episode that isn't a bloodbath, but I must warn you, the opening for Mirai Nikki: Redial does contain a lot of death and blood splashes, but great anime, if anyone wants to watch it, be forewarned of the death and bloodbath you are about to face.
