Community discussion: Making Rekt, Ez, Shrekt, L2P etc. a punishable offence.

So I was playing league with my friends and one of them told me I was a feeder. I shrugged it of because it meant literally nothing to me. However he kept on saying it on and on and on until I was getting really pissed. Eventually he said it again (I'm really sensitive guy btw) I had a little tanti and said some mean stuff and then muted my mic.

It's The same thing here, the first time it really means nothing, but with almost 70 % of the community saying this kind of stuff it gets to your head. If calling someone a feeder is bannable (ask blakew447) then this should definately be censored. This discussion isn't for the people that can handle this "abuse" but for the people that are sensitive like me and can't handle it.

I can already see this being a huge problem even though i'm for the idea I voted against making them banable. As I do dislike when people say this in-game I believe it just adds to the competition that makes mcsg what it is! Some ways I can see this being a problem: People could be joking with there friends in game and saying this stuff to each other and a mod could join not knowing they are just messing around and kick them. Another problem would be if a person earlier in the game is taunting you(i.e. calling you a noob, or saying you are bad) and later on in the game a staff member joins and you kill that person and decide to rub it in their faces, you will be banned/ kicked and the other person will get off scott free.

Rekt, ez, l2p are just gaming slang. I feel these gaming slang shouldn't be banned or censored. You see, when we find these terms annoying, sometimes we like to have fun and say them too to other players.
I think that if these gaming terms were bannable, maybe saying 'ratchet' to someone else could be bannable too in a near future.
What I'm trying to say is that, sometimes we need a little fun. Its no fun filtering each and every word. Even these words are not inappropriate, but they could be filtered. Sometimes we seriously make a whole drama for terms like this, when its not even a big deal.

Ok, I already made a thread for this last week, stating the same things but it got removed and I got 3-day ban because apparently I was 'swearing'.




But, l2p, eZ, gg10, rekt, that's a form of cyberbullying, I said this in my thread and I've seen quite alot of people saying tjis too. Imagine if a 10-year-old dies and killer says 'ez'. That may easily hurt their feelings.. And you (by 'you' I mean MCG Staff) are saying 'dont let it get into your head' if they are 10 years old, it will most likely get to their heads.

You were also saying that 'even if people get offended, it doesn't mean it's offensive.' No words needed. Look at the poll. 60% of people get offended. And then there's the 150-man Staff team who mostly don't even play the game, and they are saying it's not offensive. I am not trying to attack the staff team here, but that is the truth.

Personally, I don't want l2p, ez, rekt, stuff like this to be bannable, make it like in Hive. If there's trashtalk in your message, it will get blocked. Hurts nobody; not the guy who dies, not the guy who kills. So simple in my opinion, and easy to add in the plugin, too!
