Tier / Level 3 Chest

I've been recently hearing about Tier 3 chests....Can someone explain to me what that is? If a tier 2 chest spawns iron armor, cooked food, diamonds, etc; then what do tier 3 chests spawn? Diamond armor, potions, and OP stuff?

Nobody knows yet - Chad posted somewhere deep in an announcement thread mentioning "level 3 chests" as being something they are having trouble adding right now due to 1.4. Nobody knows until they are added.

For all we know, they could spawn little new items - maybe a part of it is to have better separation of items, like gold/chain in tier 2 and iron in tier 3. Who knows. (Although, because he said "to spice up the game a bit," I doubt it.)

I'd personally like tier 3 chests to have dyes, iron armor and potions in them!

Why dyes in a tier 3 chest? Because dyes are amazinggggggg.

Lapis should be Tier 4, Lapis is amazing.

I'd liked to see an increased chance of diamonds and iron armor spawning in tier 3's, as well as bottles of enchanting and some suitable potions

In Teweran, I saw a tier 3 today. Which contained 2 exp bottles, a gold sword, 2 instant healing potions and 2 ender pearls. Nice!

btw thats not a tier 3 chest thats a problem with the map when it got reuploaded

Isn't it more like the dispenser in map 1 with 2 diamonds and full iron?

thats isnt a tier 3 chest its a tier 2 ive got 2 enderpearls 2 gold ingots and 1 healing potion on map 3 its just a bugged when it was reuploaded
