Statue in Valleyside in memory of Lovelights aka Kosmish (The Map Maker)

Can Team Elite have a statue? Can Red Forest have a statue? Can cadbane4321 have a statue? Can Schnogot have a statue? If you give Kosmish/Lovelights a statue, others might want one too.

Sure, he did a lot for the community, but then again, him breaking the rules tips the scale a bit too far. Also, it seems a bit too much trouble just for a statue. The devs and senior staff have much better things to do than adding something that, to be quite frank, is not needed.

He did his 'ban' thing before i got like 'nice' so he pretty much cleared his history

Then he goes and gets Kosmish thinking that he can just start new and just ignore the fact he broke the rules and not facing a punishment. I mean really? I have nothing against Lovelights/Kos but honestly do we have to worship this guy and again ignore the fact he is banned?

Technically he could do this himself and have the map committee (hahaha) use that version of the map as an update to the map.

Pretty much what RC_4777 mentioned, the fact that there are many other deserving individuals that deserve to have statues of them. And why does that make Lovelights any different? I have nothing against him, I love the map he maid and all that he's done, but he decided to leave on his own terms and reveal the story of him being Kosmish on his own terms, without even knowing whether he'd actually be banned for Minimap he used a long time ago. It's his choice to leave, and "rewarding" him with a statue to commemorate him is a bit silly in my opinion. If we give him a statue, why not give all other map makers and YouTubers and important people statues?

I went ahead and built a statue. It features a blocky yet slightly organic statue of lovelights holding a limited edition slightly modified Valleyside diamond sword.
(i'm not a great statue builder so don't judge )
If this is to be a "thing" message me and I will get a schematic or world download to whoever needs it.

I hate to be a party pooper, but why just for him? If we do this, why not give every banned/retired player that helped significantly on a map something?

My thought exactly. It just doesn't seem fair because let's be honest, this thread would most likely not exist if Lovelights wasn't a YouTuber.

Even if it was implemented for starters. What if Love doesn't even want his own statue? Which skin would be used? Also, where would it be situated. These things should have been thought of before posting the thread.

Don't get me wrong, it's a nice idea and a great way to leave a final goodbye. But what if Love doesn't even want his own statue?

This was just posted as a quick idea and I didnt think it would have as much attention as it does. There would be no point planning and building stuff if no one heard of it
