Actually I was banned once but I'd rather not be a moderator...I think he just wants to be a moderator, or was recently declined from being one. But that's just my opinion.
Yes I know this but if they want dedicated moderators they would choose younger people for mod since most won't have jobs. Some people. Kid, kid. Staff cannot be fully dedicated, most of them have jobs. They have a real life out of Minecraft. K.

YEA WHAT HE SAID!Don't double post.
What you said about me trying to become a moderator and being declined is actually wrong I'd rather not be part of staff because it doesn't seem that great...Don't double post.

So I've been on Mcsg for about two years and through out these two years I've noticed staff members slowly not being in servers and playing I know I've posted thread like this before. But in the last four weeks there has been a huge increase of hackers I see at least 2-5 everyday. Which is very disappointing what happened to all the moderators on the servers yes I know they might be disguised in a lobby but I do /stats [Player Name] I just do letters A-E that's what a majority of staff's names start with. Today I've seen two moderators one in the hub one in a lobby and he left to go hangout with people in the hub. I know people will reply to this saying "oh well they might be on the forums or are keeping the hub safe" or something similar to it. This is what I have to say to those players and moderators that might reply to this why are they moderators if all they do is sit in the hub telling people watch your language or something like that and when they're in a game all they do is basically tell people the same thing. Yes I know not every moderator can be on the servers but if I didn't have this one ban I'd apply for moderator and I think I would be a good moderator but I'm going off topic. I'm speaking for about 65% of the community that moderators aren't doing their job last summer I always saw mods in a lobby but it seems like all the good moderators are retiring such as JustAHotDog I know ThatOneTomahawk retired from being a moderator a while ago but he was a very good mod as well. It's very sad to see all the good mods retire just because the staff seem to be much more young and not as experienced also players in lobbies have to pretend to be mods even I've had to tell players to stop spamming but since I'm not a moderator and none are ever on so the spammers, glitchers, etc. tell me to stfu (shut the bunnies up) or somethign similar to it. But the policy should be changed to where players with one seven day ban can apply for moderator but that will never happen oh well if anyone has read up to this point please have a nice day.
Alright, so... As a 14 year old moderator who went through an age exception, it's tough. Being a mod is more work than some people realise and yeah, we might not always be in a server, we do have lives outside of minecraft and I know younger people may be more dedicated but that's why we have an option for an age exception - for the younger, dedicated people. We get poked about a hacker, we go deal with that. We get poked again and we deal with that. Sometimes we don't get breaks from catching them. Some say we need more mods, well we probably do but at the end of the day, we also need people who are trust worthy and have experience. If we hire everyone who says they're trust worthy, then they either abuse their powers and/ or have no idea what they're doing.. Then the servers won't be any better. We do the best we can with what we have.
For example.. Mods have access to this thing called Gamemaster - you can't see mods when they're in this mode and therefore may not see if they're in your server. Also, a majority of the time, we can't always play due to pokes about hackers. Yeah, we get the odd game to play but we can't be in every server all at once.
This is why we need you, the community, to help us. We can't do it on our own. People always say: BAN THE HACKERS!! Well we would, but we don't know who the hackers are and that's where you guys come into play. See a hacker? Hop on TS, poke a mod! Check the hub to see if there are any active mods! Or another great thing, record them yourselves and post a report abuse and the user will most definitely be dealt with. It's a two way street- you help us and we help you. Sometimes we play and we find hackers that way - we won't leave them there. But we can't just 'ban all the hackers' it just doesn't work like that.
I hope that cleared that up a little for you.
