My best memory wasn't on MCGamer.

It was on Minecraft Survival Games.

I met one of the best players on the server at the time, iFroxFTW . I still think of him as more talented than anyone that plays at the moment, since the older SG took a lot more skill to play. He was an idol to myself and many others. As per anyone did in those old games, I asked him to team and he wasn't one of those people who think "oh everyone bows down to me as a god I can reject them all" which is an attitude that many people take today and it is an awful attitude. He said yes, and boy that made me happy. He was one of the nicest guys I have ever met on survival games. He helped me learn, and helped me get to the top 10 in the old EU leaderboards which is a moment I will be forever proud of. He helped me win my first game, taught me all the good tricks of the trade, from the Casino on SG1 to the old OP 4double chest room on SG2.

Another story.

Again, it was on Minecraft Survival Games.

The creative server. With the original admins. Yes, Karoleigh, Sabbo, Clank, Exer ~Insert Others Here~. GibboAssassin Had THE BEST plot, She built a massive library house museum thing and it was amazing, everyone was so impressed by it. I had a cake that took up a whole plot that was massive. Simey had a snake that went under three plots which was amazing. Frondome had a massive building with a shrine for his crush underneath, It was all epic. Then there was my sign. I build a massive sign and It had signatures on it from most of the ex admins and Sr mods and mods. I know its still around, and every time I try to gain access to it, Im just pushed away. That sign has the best people from mcsg on it. The only signigture missing is Chads.

Rip my stories<3

If I win this, Please put this on my friends account (I already have Platinum Donor): GG1Heart

Once upon a time, in a MCSG game on Holiday Resort. There was a 3v2. 20 minutes since the game started. We all wanted it to end. Too long. KevinKraft_02 & Dunaden VS (Idk who they were but it was 3 people team). Before the 3v2 happened. Kevin and Dunaden were strolling across the shore of the Resort. When they encountered them. An intense 3v2 occured in the middle of the water, including loads of bow shots. Everyone eventually ran out of arrows and they just seperated. Kevin and Dunaden planned to go to spawn, but the 3 team was there. No water. No arrows. This was it. Dunaden goes for the FnS and scares away one of them. Kevin attacks one of them while Dunaden attacks the other. Kevin and Dunaden succeeded and killed both of them. But then they remembered about the other guy that Dunaden scared away. He came back. Kevin and Dunaden fought together and then it was just them. As they waited for deathmatch, they crafted their stuff and made everything fair. At the final battle. They started with a few bow shots and then went in for the face to face battle. Kevin uses his FnS to get Dunaden on fire and block hits with lots of criticals. Dunaden had a low chance of winning considering the fact that he was on fire.

Kevin was the champion of this match.

My name is Kevin, and this is one of my best memories of playing on MCGamer.

The First Win
by Giggity69Goo

[Introduction]
Most of my journey started because of my Aunt. No she did not buy me the game, and she definitely did not show me the MCSG servers. However, she definitely sparked my interest in The Hunger Games. She told me she read every book and that we should watch the movie. I didn’t know much about the series but I just thought it was something cliché. Boy was I wrong! The thought of how everything worked. The society in Panem (the country in the book and movie The Hunger Games by Suzzane Collins). The actual “Hunger Games”. It all just amazed me and I couldn’t believe it. I loved the movie and started reading the books and it seemed like something I would love to get involved with myself, but not in real life of course.

[From the Start]
It was a rainy summer day outside. I woke up and realized, hey why don’t I play some Minecraft today! It’s June, and I’ve only gotten the game Minecraft a month ago. Shortly after getting the game I found MCSG so much research of Hunger Games Servers and watching youtubers play Hunger Games in Minecraft.. After watching, all I wanted to do was win the game. I didn’t care how many times I won, it was 1 win that would make my gaming life here in MCSG.

I started playing MCSG and I got the jist of it. There are only two maps, Survival Games 1 and Survival Games 2. I remember the first ever Hunger Games video I watched was played in the map Survival Games 2, by Team Vareide. I first saw the map in the video and was absolutely stunned. All the builds and the idea of the map, I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw some pictures of it. Once I found MCSG I just thought to myself Wow...I can be in that arena...I can be the victor in this amazing map...I can win the Hunger Games. The determination in my square eyes of Minecraft, my sweaty palms, I could just remember everything about my first game of MCSG.

[The Games Begin]
The map was Survival Games 1. I had no idea where I was going, and did not go to Cornucopia as I thought of it as a death trap. I ran and ran and ran endlessly. Me being very new to Minecraft, I didn’t focus much on my health. Shortly after the game started I had to leave. But I didn’t care about the fact that I played for five minutes, all that was going on in my head was that I finally played in the Hunger Games! All I could think about in the car ride was Minecraft Survival Games and I just couldn’t wait to get onto the computer.

Many games were played, and those games were lost. It didn’t bother me so much, especially since I knew I was not that great. I would also start to “Skype Team” with others. I remember vividly one time how I skype teamed with someone who had Twenty Wins and I was amazed by the number of wins he had while he kept repeating It’s not that many wins. Not so many wins huh? Well it took a hell lot of time to try and get a win.

At some point I kept coming into servers that were playing Survival Games 2. I felt very lucky playing the map I’m best on, especially since there was no voting at the time. I played the map over and over again and that was when I first developed a route. Everytime I played the map all it was was to go to the pink house, across the river, obsidian structure, church, then kill. That was my game-plan. At one point I made it to deathmatch and was extremely excited. I thought it was my time to win, the spotlight would be on me. Me and the one other person were teleported to the Cornucopia where we had to fight to death. At the time deathmatch was only two people, and I could not rely on anybody else in this fight. Me being the new guy here, thought I would win since I had five stone swords. Of course I thought “the more, the better.” It was me, and the blood thirsty eyes of another tribute staring right at me. I had great hopes, until he whipped out his diamond sword. I was amazed, and being a very unintelligent player in Minecraft I straight away thought he was hacking. He killed me right away, but I still left with a smile on my face because I knew I was capable of staying alive for a long time. I even told my parents and they laughed knowing how much fun I was having.

Game after game, loss after loss, I was becoming a lot better. If anyone remembers Version 1, also known as v1, of MCSG, it was not all about PvP. Actually none of it was really about PvP. Winning the hunger games consisted of your route, strategy, and confidence. I got all of that down and all it consisted of was how well my opponent did.

[The Moment]
Then came one game. Of course it was Survival Games 2. I followed my route, all that was in my head was “Pink house first, pink house first. This will be the game you win.” The determination in both my square frame in the arena, and my eyes fixated on the computer was unusual. I just had the feeling that “This is it, I will get my first win.” If you asked how much confidence I had between 1-10 I would’ve said 100. I was so focused, bloodthirsty, and ready to hear that cannon.

In the game I skipped the cornucopia and ran right to the pink house and got the three double tier-2’s in the basement. I was the only one there and got a great head start. Following my route I got some chests in the obsidian structure, and then the tier-2 on top of the Church. After gathering all the supplies I needed I looked into my inventory and looked at all the valuable things that stood out. One diamond, 2 stone swords, and two iron ingots. Two iron ingots?? Let’s do this! I went straight to the cornucopia and crafted the iron sword. It’s showtime. I felt as if I was being watched like in the real Hunger Games. I wanted to show people that I will win this, even though nobody was watching.

After crafting the sword I found a team with no armor and killed them. As disgusting as it may sound, I devoured their corpses and wanted more kills. Twenty minutes go by and I couldn’t find anybody. However, the chests were just re-filled. I went straight back to my route, fearing that if I went to the cornucopia I would definitely be eaten up by other tributes as bloodthirsty as me. Again the routine went through my head. Pink house, across the river, obsidian structure, top of church, kill. I went my route and once I reached the top of the church I see in the chat

[MCSG] A cannon can be heard in the distance

[MCSG] [2] Tributes remain

DEATHMATCH WILL START IN 60 SECONDS

Here we go. I can do it. I have trained enough to win one game. This will be my first win, I will not fall to my opponent. That was repeating in my head, like when you repeat a song on iTunes.

[The Victory]
But there I was. I was teleported to the Cornucopia. I had a Chainmail Helmet, Iron Chestplate, Iron Pants, and Gold Boots with an iron sword. My opponent was in half-leather and half-iron armor with a stone sword. Since my PvP skills weren’t the best, it was a close fight. But I was able to defeat the last tribute with three and a half hearts. There it was...right in front of me...the remains of his corpse. What used to be a living being in this arena is now gone, and I’m the last one alive. All of a sudden I hear

[MCSG] A cannon can be heard in the distance

[MCSG] [1] Tribute remains

Giggity69Goo has won the survival games!

[Aftermath]
I couldn’t believe it. My first win. I started to celebrate so much and I could not wipe this everlasting smile off my face! It was a big deal for me. I was celebrating so much in the chat going My first win my first win!!! YAY!!! The person I killed congratulated me and we teamed later on and became pretty good friends. The next days I told friends and family what I did. Although they didn't know what I was talking about, I was still extremely happy about that first win. All I could think was...

I did it, I was the victor...my work here is done.

[Sidenote/Conclusion]
Although I now have over 400 wins, the first one was still the best out of all of them. Mainly due to the fact that it was won in v1 of MCSG and as I said before, you needed a good route, strategy, and determination to win the game. I hope that none of you forgot about your first win as it is a huge accomplishment if you play MCSG a lot and competitively.

All of this was made from pure memory. None of this was made up as a remembered it all.

Minecraft, Multiplayer, Add Server, bad typing in us.mcsg.in in the tiny black text box started everything for me. I joined a random lobby and immediately fell in love with the server. My first experience, was of course great! Yet, I knew I needed practice. As I'm nearing 1000 mcsg games in total, I have watched my experience improve drastically. I am much more comfortable playing against my friends and, now beating them too. The MCSG servers have definitely inspired me to compete with the best, and try to be my best. MCSG is by far, the greatest server I know.

~My first win~
After the shutdown of his ex-favorite PvP server, a boy was searching for a new PvP server. He found the perfect server. He logged onto the so called "MCSG" servers. He made his way to the sg section. He was so excited, he couldnt wait another minute. He searched for a server, he grabbed his mouse, he pointed thwoards the server sign, and right clicked. Soon he was teleported to the game lobby. He looked at the timer, and there was 2, long minutes left. The boy greeted some of the people, as he was feeling friendly today.

After a short period of time, all of the tributes were teleported to the map, each tribute on their own podium. This map, the boy never played before. The map itself looked like a base, on the moon, and noticed that it was really dark. The timer was ticking. 5. 4. 3. 2. 1. "Happy hunger games, and may the odds be ever in your favour." The boy ran out, trying to get the sweet loot in the cornucopia chests. He saw that there was another floor to the cornucopia, and he went there. He menaged to get a flint and steel, and some chain leggings. He put on the leggings, and started running. He saw an exit, and for some reason, it had a number on top of the exit. The number was 2. The boy made his way to the exit. He ran through it, and saw a chest. He wanted to loot it, but he wanted to make sure there was no tribute behind him. He pressed the F5 button, twice. He saw a guy with no armor and a wooden sword, behind him. He wasnt sprint jumping, so he didnt think the tribute was a good player. He noticed that the guy was trying to kill him. The boy got the chaser on a open field. The boy stopped, waited for the tribute to approach him. As soon as the player was 5 blocks in front of him, he placed a fire, using the flint and steel. The tribute suprisingly walked into it, and was on fire. That didnt stop him from chasing the boy, he kept on going. The boy repeated the same process with the flint and steel, and menaged to get the tribute really low. He was feeling confident, and he went in for the for the kill. He walked up to the tribute, and started spamming the left mouse button. They exchanged hits. Somehow, he menaged to kill the tribute. The tribute dropped some food, and a wooden sword.

He decided to get some chests. He started running around the map, and after a minute, he finnaly found a chest. He oppened it, and realised: It was a tier 2! And a pretty good one aswell. He got 7 armor bars from it. The boy felt like fighting somebody else. He worked his way to the cornucopia. He saw 2 very stacked people, coming from exit number 1. He had intentions of cleaning them up. He approached them, and soon realised; They were a team. He started running, and the double team followed him. The boy was scared. The double team werent stopping, they kept on chasing him. The boy was sick of the double team, and he decided to turn on them, but before that, he was thinking of a strategy in his head. What he had in mind was: Use flint and steel on the person in front. Wait for him to back out, then when the second person comes in, kill the second person. Rodspam the first person to get his attention, and then run away with him chasing you. After you've regened, kill him. He was feeling confident, and he did exactly what he had in mind. The tacitc actually worked. The boy was very, very happy and proud of himself. That also made him very stacked. The refill was happening soon, but he was rather scared to go there.

There were only 4 tributes left.

After him scouting around for some players, and possibly more stuff, somebody killed the forth player. The server announced the deathmatch starting in 60 seconds. The boy was really nervous. Who knows what awaited him in the deathmatch?

After the 60 second period, the 3 remaning tributes were teleported to the arena. The boy, being 7 and a half armor bars, and a iron sword, looked around. 1 of the tributes had full leather, along with a stone axe. The other one had 6 and a half armor bars, with a diamond sword. As the 10 second timer was running, the 2 tributes saw how stacked the boy was, and went ahead and made a team. The boy was really pissed off, but took the challenge. The boy remembered something at the start, how he went to get a chest on the second floor. He ran to the middle and climbed up the ladders to get to the second floor, and he decided to camp on here. It was a really cheap move, but the boy wanted the win so bad. The less stacked guy was feeling brave, and started climbing the ladder. The boy got 3 hits on him, and knocked him off, and the tribute died of fall damage. The boy was at 8 hearts from the last tribute, and he jumped off. He realised he was against a guy who actually had alot of wins. They faught, and the tribute was close to killing the boy, but the boy backed out of the fight. The boy was on 1 heart. With the tribute far away from him, he decided to eat his golden apple. He was regened, and went in for the kill. He bowed the tribute a few times, getting him low. The boy was never closer to victory, as he was now. He went in for the sword combat. They both exchanged hits, and suprisingly enough, the boy got the last hit. He killed him, and the server said in the chat that he won the survival games! The boy was so happy, he actually screamed. He said to himself: "This is a start of something big..."

THE END
and yes "the boy" from my story is me, just sounded more poetic writing in 3rd person =))

If there was any mistakes in both grammar or the context, please let me know.

EDIT: Ok I just realised that Gigity already did a story on this topic, I hope he doesnt mind, I didnt see his before I posted ;-;

I will be writing my story tomorrow, but just to confirm CAm, we are allowed to write a fictional piece?
We Prefer a memory or experience if you can, however, should you write a fictional piece, theres no way of us knowing wether its fictional or not, so technically, I can't put a stipulation on it unless you make it very obvious that its fictional... Keep it realistic..

is it me or is everyone posting their first win? i know there are a few exceptions *cough my story *cough, but this is really boring reading about everyone's first win i know I'm not one to judge but there is not much variety ...
