Yes it does work, seeing as it is impossible to use regen. They are also working on adding methods to prevent even more types of hacks. Please have some respect for the huge amount of work the developers do.

But in all honesty, as someone who has hacked before (years ago, back in beta.) The majority of hackers do so because they enjoy watching the annoyed reactions of other people. (Same goes for griefing)
