Seeing as I'm not from America, I wont give you my POV on their country, it might not be the most "accurate" to say the least.

I will explain a bit about Canada though ^.^

Contrary to popular belief, we dont live in igloos! Yes I know, quite a shocker. And no, we dont drink maple syrup, you have it with Pancakes :p

In all seriousness, I would choose Canada rather then the US any day.

Although Canada does not have New York, frankly I wouldn't want to. I've been to NYC (for about a week) and the amount of violence is crazy. I'm not saying Canada doesnt have this, its just its we are more.. "friendly" if thats the correct word.

And no, we dont have eternal winter, actually our summers are quite long. Just the other day it was 30 degrees Celsius. (86 or something) and at our peaks in the summer, it gets up into the 30's (95 - 105 Fahrenheit)

But boy does it get cold.. Some school days this last winter, it was -30 Celsius (went to school at -20, got colder in the day we had to stay inside ofc) which is -22 in Fahrenheit.

We have the Rocky Mountains to the rolling prairies, the barren Arctic to the sweet Suburbs. I really cant name anything bad about Canada's Geography.

Only thing is..

DAMN HST TAX! (whopping 13%! but we do have free healthcare! :p)
Come back to NYC Pixel I will kill you. I'll show you what violence is :)
You seem to dislike NYC.
What's it like knowing the New York City Police Department has enough power to take over your country? :O

I like the fact that the other surrounding countries wouldnt stand for it.

I do dislike NYC, been there once and wont return. (unless needed)
You're right, they wouldn't stand for it. They'd fall too, assuming they interfere.

That said, I'm obviously not being serious about taking over Canda. :p

Canada is in NATO, so they aren't neutral.
I never said we dont help, I said most of the time we dont interfere, it isnt good at all...

I just don't think the world is good anymore, humanity won't last, but that is another discussion :p

Canada does participate in the majority of the military actions taken by the US.

Canada sides with America in pretty much every war, you guys just don't go around being the main causers of the wars, like we often are.

I live in America, and in San Francisco, California, about 300 miles up north from L.A. In my opinion, Los Angeles is a good place to visit because of it's many attractions but not a good place to live, because of it's high crime rates and "ghetto" areas. Now don't get me wrong, there are some really nice places to live like near Hollywood. Where I live, it's a multi-cultural place. The nickname of our 100 mile radius is called the Bay Area. Here you can see people from many parts of the world, including almost all countries. There are many high tech companies like Google and Apple. In my opinion California is a great place to stay because of it's great coastal line, valley, and terrain including Yosemite National Park, one of the greatest parks of nature in the USA. Also there is a hot but cool desert in the south called the Mojave Desert, including Death Valley a very beautiful place that even I haven't gone yet. Hope this inspires you. :p

The United States is my first choice of country to live in.
Really, one can't completely summarize what this country is like, seeing as it follows the "melting pot" analogy. The U.S. is full of cultures and peoples from everywhere across the globe, allowing for the most diverse culture on the planet. As such, we have a multitude of different foods to choose from, thanks to the variety of cultures. Our geography is the most diverse, ranging from miles upon miles of beautiful grassland and farms, to towering mountain ranges, to forests, to vast deserts, and finally to bustling cities, with countless skyscrapers standing tall and proud. Our country holds some of the world's greatest sights, such as the Grand Canyon and beautiful national parks (Yosemite, Yellowstone, etc).

American's possess a strong sense of security, knowing the most powerful military in the world is keeping us safe. Despite what some may think, we do indeed have the most powerful and technologically advanced military on the planet. We've also invested the most money compared to anyone else in it, allowing for such a marvel to be amassed.

The positive aspects of this country, as well as living in it, just flow through my mind. I struggle to create a list of negative aspects, equal or greater to in size.
wow you really do like murica

Siding and helping are two different things.

Do we send troops in, of course. Enough to pose a threat, nope. Enough to create a significant impact in a war, rarely. Sure we take part in and "side" with the Americans, we do it because there is usually benefit for us, for example Afghanistan right now. We're fighting because there has been issues between our countries aswell, but America is technically the major part in the war.
