Welcome to land of the obese
Slightly innapropiate but okay :p

America everybody!
dat looks bootiful
I live in Argentina. Seeing how you are form England then Im supposed to hate you! Nah just kidding, if you dont know, our countries have a very tense history haha But I do hold a bigger respect for your country than mine in many aspects.

But about my country, Its a beautiful country to visit it has a lot of variety in landscapes. But living here is a completely different thing... First of all, we are 3rd world country for the most part, that takes a lot of opportunities away from you in terms of your future.
We have an extremely corrupt and awful government that steals from everybody and does not give a crap about anyone but themselves. There is plenty of more bad stuff, but its really not worth mentioning since this would be too long :( There hasnt been stability in my country from way before I was born too, over like 40 years already.
ouch :/

I've been to LA, Vegas and San Francisco, and I can honestly say that they're amazing places, but they're not at all representative of the rest of America (feel free to tell me if I'm completely wrong here). From what I noticed the people tend to be more optimistic and cheery than in the UK, but culturally there's not as much of a difference as you might think. Also Six Flags was amazing.

LA is probably 3 times bigger than the biggest city in my state, so I can't really tell you much about city life, except good luck getting there and dream big!

America is awesome! I don't know what it's like to live elsewhere, but I think it is a very good place to both live and visit. If want want to visit, you might have just as much fun in a national park as you would in a city like Los Angeles. The American West is full of some of the most stunning scenery in the world, with great canyons and red rock mountains in the desert, and great forests with huuuuuuge trees by the west coast. In a big city though, you get to see all the culture America has to offer. America is a very mixed culture, so in a big city you can find food, art, architecture from all over the world and from any of the past three centuries.

Personally though, if you ever wanted to move here, I think a big city is not as good of a lifestyle as a suburban or rural area. Big cities have a lot of crime, they're not as friendly, they are more expensive to live in, etc... If you happen to live in London, you know what that is like.

There are so many places to see and go. However, living there is not so great. People are locked up in their homes and on electronics. Nobody really talks much... In Europe, I'm able to go outside at 11-12 pm and walk around, go to places to eat, and talk to people. Yesterday my dad and I met these 4 boys my age who were out on their own. They were complete strangers but we still talked about how it's like in America, etc. If that happened in the US, the parents might sue my dad or something xD In the US kids aren't very independent until their 18... However, the US does have amazing things to see and places to go.

I'm probably saying this because I live in Arizona, where there's nothing xD I'm sure Cali is much better

Depends on where you are. I used to talk to lots of kids (moved to a new neighborhood with less kids my age) and yesterday I talked for like 5 minutes to a random guy at a hot dog stand. North Carolina is a pretty good place, and my city actually is considered good in business and for families around the nation.

The East is a lot different than the West. I've never been to the East coast, but it seems like a nice place to live.

If you want to live in America, you're probably going to want to live near mountains, they're soo beautiful. I live across the country from California, North Carolina, having a beach and mountains are a great combo.
