Did you ever think it would turn out like this?

I played for 3 months with no knowledge of Skype/ts
Met so many amazing people, but even though I'm really close with them I think I'm closer with some irlL friends c:

Nope. I thought I'd play a few games here and there and not make friends with anyone, but that's not quite what happened c:

I love MCSG because of how different our community is from the rest of the Minecraft world. Almost every time you hear someone talking about Minecraft it is about building or survival. Rarely anyone ever thinks of their preferred Minecraft experience to be in a game with 24 players, getting loot from chests, and killing others to win. We are so unique! ^_^

It's cool but also kinda sad at the same time, I started playing this a little over a year ago and really enjoyed it for a year straight. I'd always have something to look forward to when knowing I could go home and get on mcsg. After a few months it became my main source of enjoying myself. Now that I lost interest I often don't really know what do do anymore and I stopped enjoying other stuff as much as I used to. I never expected it to turn out like this a year ago. I'm not sure if I regret discovering this.

Honestly, its been by far more of my expectations. The reason why I first started playing was because I watched a video of JoeyGraceffa playing MCSG. I just found his channel and took a look at his newest MCSG video (exactly around a year ago). Rather than thinking the game concept was amazing, the map Joey was playing in, captivated me. That map was: Valleyside University.
Who'd knew I would once be really good friends with the creator itself. Krafty :p

Personally, if I hadn't the urge to find Joey in-game, probably I wouldn't even be as known as I am...
I've moved on from friends to friends, but then it seems we cross our ways again.

I really didn't think I'd end up in the position I'm in and I'm really grateful for the opportunities I've had, although sometimes regret it, I feel like when I was really bad I enjoyed it much more, not to mention how much of my time I've spent on here, but I still enjoy it, and hopefully the break I take for my exams will help me get more interested again.

Heck no, I never thought I'd get it this far. Back when i was a nub I always looked through the leaderboards and thought: "wow, I wish I was as good as them", the big clans back then were blamphs and Cyanvolts. So I tryharded for wins, got better, got from 30 to 400 in less than two months ( back then that was pretty hard) and finally got into the greatest clan, The Rebels. I met so many good friends and amazing people.

It all started september 2012. My friends and I had our own server and we tested various plugins, we came across this plugin called "survivalgames" and decided to try it out. I found the idea of the gametype really fun and decided to search for servers that focus on SG. I found MCSG and i asked one of the most loyal players on the server we had to join me for a few games (roling_stone) We were total noobs but we had a lot of fun:D

In early october i bought iron donor for both of us and we spent more and more time on MCSG. I started to get better and after 2 months of playing i had about 200 wins (the #1 player ifrox had 709 wins back then). That was when i realized that reaching #1 was a possibility. I played non-stop during the winterbreak 2012/2013 and managed to grind around 500 wins. I became #1 early january 2013.

I never intended to get anywhere in MCSG at all xD Grinding wins for an entire winterbreak maybe sounds extreme but i truly enjoyed grinding wins back then:)

TL;DR: I did not expect to get anywhere in MCSG when i first started:p

Not really, I started MCSG to just play with and only in real life friends but major in real life stuff happens and now I'm here. Some of the people I've met are great except for UpdatinStatus.

Actually no. I got this game to play with an IRL friend, he quit after a month or two, so I started asking people for their Skype and gained friends off of friends. In the end, this is one of the best things that has happened to me. I've met many great friends, and have had good experiences.
