[Suggestion] Allowing Alternate Accounts for Banned Users

Honestly, that's why I put 'unfair' in ' marks as they are controversial opinions.

If everyone wants to ignore the point I made about monetary punishment and how other games/servers have benefited this way, this thread is useless. You have to analyze exactly what I said because I've known everything you are saying before making this thread.

If it was legit of being unfair then they should of posted a ban dispute and unbanned.

This is exactly why one alt should be allowed. Drama is caused by people on alts which aren't allowed all the time. And think about it, those alts only get banned FOR being alts. They are more careful once they have paid for another account.

Exactly, they won't get banned for doing something wrong on that acc, just get banned for being an alt, it makes no utter sense.

99% of players who get banned twice are going to come back and hack again. Also, it probably wouldn't make a difference if we allowed banned players to use alts because anyone who gets banned twice obviously doesn't care about the rules and would be on an alt anyways.

Completely wrong. I know people who are perm banned for hacking and don't hack anymore. You shouldn't make up random statistics. 99 percent is never believable

Yeah, it's true, I mean I think the reason people hacked in the first place was, well I mean I swear, when I die in sg IMO it's at least 85% of the time I play I die to hackers, so permabanned players usually toggle against other hackers, I don't think they try to ruin everyone's day and stuff, they just want to win! But people who get banned for hacking usually don't hack again!

What? That made no sense to me, I was not talking about unfair bans.. I know how the system works. Please respond to the actual post. Unfair bans IS not a defined object and as such, I leave it as a controversial OPINION.

To me this seems like a great idea, if someone is perm banned, and they come back they obviously love the servers and enjoy playing. Why would someone buy a new account, just to get banned again? People would learn their lesson (of course some people won't), and it would allow people, who were unfairly banned to still play, not saying this happens, but sometimes people do make mistakes. Also this would give MCSG a chance to get some more donators, since you are no longer able to transfer donor.

Edit: Also why are people automatically saying no, have you even thought about the advantages?

Agree with everything said here. Any moderators want to being this whole thread back to a meeting? Honestly, of you think about it, this is giving you more of a chance of people buying donor, and making more people happy that we're banned once (ie: Kranzo, JustLTheWorst, Arena) a chance at fairly playing on your servers again, and probably buying donor.

In my opinion I like the concept as in if someone is banned their new account should be treated as a new person and if said account hacks then they get banned also so why not, only thing IP bans should be for is if you track a DDoS to a users IP adress as it is a crime.

With that logic, Donor gives an unfair advantage, because donors have more votes and can vote for the maps, that they know better.

To add onto what tech said is that I believe it shouldnt be seen as an alt account and as a new user because this is an online community and just like tech said another example of unfairness is that donors were allowed to use items on survival they got from their donator kit but alt accounts weren't allowed in factions because it gives an unfair advantage to said player same as the kit with the reasoning not all playerd have access to an alt account but that is like saying not all players have access to donor rank and it's items because most factions do allow alt accounts because they did buy it and it isn't hurting anyone.
