It doesn't really do anything new. Nowadays one could buy an alt anyway, this just lets you keep your name (therefore sometimes making it easier to get caught, if the player is known).

This is just a thread explaining that technicall in the future it will be possible to reset your statistics.

I know, but that method is rather limited and is only a small step up from what you can do now, and for some people, they'd like a new name anyway.

This is basically just the current system, just with the ability to change names. And with that, it maintains all of the current problems associated with it.

We still have IP bans. We just ban the IP If we find out they have multiple accounts.
