Hi :3 I'm just gonna go to the point because I'm awkward :3

Whenever I fight teams or in a winning situation, my hands start shaking and my heart beats like crazy. I try taking deep breaths but that just distracts me from the fight and I end up dead. Like 2 days ago, it was me vs a team of 3 full iron (it was a 30 minute wait till dmatch). I lit all the podiums on fire (which I realized they could put out after which only one of them did) and I managed to kill 2 of them by using a bow and setting them on fire. Then when it came to last guy I couldn't get my thoughts straight as I was so impressed about how well I'd done and my hands began to shake and where I had the advantage in a sword fight I ran off, and was pushed into a surrounding tree (this was holiday resort). I still got away on 2 hearts. I then tried to bow him but my hands were literally shaking as much as half the length of my keyboard. Of course I ended up dead as I could barely hit the guy. I cracked :/

So I wanted to ask for any tips on trying to keep calm in big situations like these. I checked out the comments on Duljuice's channel (she gets really shaky hands too) but couldn't find anything useful apart from the breathing thing which ruins me :3

Please be considerate and don't say mean things. I'm no pro but I know a lot of you on the forums are. Thank you :3

Well, Its been a while since I played MCSG, but I remember I always got the same thing haha you are not alone buddy! Im not sure there is any way to really stop it, but maybe with time it will happen less often.

Normally I check their stats and if their win count is lower then mine I'm normally feel more confident that I could kill them, However if their wins are higher then mine or have a really good ratio(nearly ever person) I begin to shake as you said, I don't really think there's a way to stop it but the more you play the more confident you become to take on teams :D

I have this problem as well, although i have more to work with typically being a hive player, and i find that leaving the fight and cooling off is the only way it stops. If i beat a three team or a really skilled player my heart starts racing and i just run into a part of the map i am on with very little people passing through and stay there, calm down, and then return to murdering victims :)

Hmm... well, make sure to have some nice comfort food nearby to eat before you start playing a game, or before DM starts (when you're safe).
Are you able to tell when it's going to happen, or does it just happen every time?

Also - if it's because you're being overconfident, just tell yourself "oh, I just got lucky :( It'll never happen again." It sounds really cruel to yourself, but it'll hopefully reverse the situation that you're describing, mentally.

If you feel that nervous just do /stats (User) and if they have less wins than you, just feel confident casue you have great highly chances to win that match. Hope that was usefull!

All I can really say is that it just takes time. As you get more and more experience in those tough situations, you'll start to get more confident in them, which could possibly lead to less shaking. Just keep on playing and don't kick yourself when you do poorly, take the experience from that fight and build off it to do better in the next one. c:

It's when I'm doing really well or I'm in a winning situation even if I have full iron + dia sword and he has chain/gold/iron I'll still get nervous :3
I'll try the eating thing though! ^-^

Thanks to everyone else who replied trying to help ^-^
