I watched the whole thing for no reason ;-; I could not look away.. I NEEDED TO WATCH!!I used that to build my pc. The guy is kinda weird but does a good job explaining what to do. The entire process took me about 2.5-3 hours
Ye the i5 is on my build and I do plan to get two four gigsIf your gonna keep the computer for 2-3 years, I suggest getting atleast 8 GB of ram or a i5 or more processor ;p
Ya, you need a computer that's gonna last you for a whileYe the i5 is on my build and I do plan to get two four gigs
I do like the video card, ram, and PSU..... Im not the biggest fan of the motherboard, Case (Mine was cheaper ), and the storage is ok :/okay, it is obvious you all want to spend more money than you need to for a gaming rig on an i5 (Gpu is where you should throw your money) I looked over to the other thread and configured this build within a 1k budget. I saw a keyboard on the one you made but i dont know what you want there so you will need to add it yourself

I have a seagate barracuda in my current computer and i feel it is a great hard drive. It gives you a TB cheap and i have no compaintsI do like the video card, ram, and PSU..... Im not the biggest fan of the motherboard, Case (Mine was cheaper ), and the storage is ok :/

as for the motherboard, you may want to find a better one, same with the case it you would like. I just thought a nice motherboard with usb 3.0 and 32 gigs of ram max is not bad and the case is a full tower atx, so it has ample room to work with
i7 is for rendering/making videos not really programming/game coding. Programming itself you can do on a crappy laptop, depending on what you are wanting to do to. If its just for websites -> crappy laptop, game designing/cryengine script writing etc -> i5 k with a nice GPU.An i5 is definitely worth it. And NEVER get an AMD processor. AMD makes great things, but with Intel's new 4th gen processors they don't come nearly as good.
I would recommend i5. i7 isn't worth it for your budget. No one really needs more than i5 K unless your doing some heavy programming or game coding. At least 8gb RAM would be good for you, but with your budget you might be able to go up to 16. I reccomend the G. Skill Ripjaw series.
