I don't believe what he did was cocky. He is proud of getting VIP and he just wanted to share it with everyone. It is a huge accomplishment that not many people get.

When I first saw the title of this thread, I was going to go on a rant about people submitting a map suggestion and automatically assuming they'd receive VIP.

But, now that I know otherwise and actually opened the thread and read its contents, congratulations.

To be honest i was not bragging about getting VIP i was just happy about getting it, i didnt think posting a thread about getting it and about a new map would get so much hate but ok...
